Been I while since I've seen Giga Chikadze. Remembered his debut in 2020, right out of Glory Kickboxing. Those were exciting days, but recently he's been in unranked limbo and is still going to be there for his next fight.

A shame, but it is what it is. Unfortunately for Giga, others fighters are more deserving of their place in the rankings. Quite interesting to see how things change; Ricky Simon, Calvin Kattar, Sodiq Yusuff were great ranked fighters that lost their rank eventually. Ultimately, the best need to take priority one way or another, and the UFC has gotten much better at knowing who the best really is.
