Pereira looks massive. Expecting Transbender to jab-feint-low kick to a decision, but hoping Pereira chins him. The division is otherwise dead.

I don't think that he will "jab-feint-low kick" Pereira, not because he wants to show the world he's an elite striker after his dull performance with Cannonier. I think that Pereira won't allow him to, Izzy can't out-jab someone with a similar reach of his own. I think this fight will play out the same way as Adesanya vs Pereira 1 did.

Honestly rewatching their 1st fight it's hard not to say Izzy was robbed, he landed more in every round and wasn't hurt at any point. When the winner was announced even Pereira looked surprised.
In the second fight Izzy was way ahead until he got clipped, and there was even a standing 8 count after he landed 3 or 4 clean straights on Pereira.
I'm not even an Izzy fan but I feel like people have this misconception that Pereira has his number when just viewing their fights that's blatantly untrue.
That said, Pereira by stoppage early on and if he doesn't then Izzy will point fight to a decision.

Pereira can pose a serious threat imo if he hides kicks behind punches because Gynosana expose himself to kicks when he evades punches, but Pereira rarely does that even in kickboxing for whatever reason. Wasted nasty kicks.
Wouldn't be surprised if Pereira pull off a KO out of nowhere but Nipplebender most likely wins via overall superior striking game. Worst case scenario is kicking contest but that's still better than Romero fight.
Meanwhile, Sakakibara's new favorite boi Hiramoto (basically Japan's S'melly) is finally getting good, dude recently wrecked an ex DEEP champion after only 2 years of MMA training. They should really stop wasting money on retarded shit like Mayweather, and invest on those younger guys instead, really.

Dude replicated his 2nd kickboxing fight to a tee. Gets rocked and saved by the bell/ref. Losing on the scorecards, gets into an extended exchange and knocks Adesanya out in the final round.

Insane card. I'm sad I decided making it to the grocery before close was more important than the main fight, though tbf I watched the first round and figured it was gonna go the same as usual.

Chadwick Boseman, hope he's being dramatic and it's not cancer. Going to be having a serious mental blow imo. Gets knocked out by Pereira in kickboxing in 2017. 5 years have passed, he's had success as a divisional great at middleweight. Now this guy chases him all the way to MMA as an MMA novice, and what changes about that loss? Nothing. The dynamic is exactly the same. Izzy winning minutes, Pereira winning big moments.
Dude had to relive that KO loss all over again. At least Goddard saved him from ending up like Usman.

This goes back a long ways with Japanese MMA. I used to catch K-1 around Christmas. I'll be watching this event, too.

I think Pereira has to go down as one of the biggest a-logs in combats sports. With all the hindsight, it is really funny how he chases Adesanya to another sport where he is heralded as a phenom and divisional great (number 1 or 2 next to Silva), has become an international superstar, and this guy turns up, having not bothered to learn how to strip grips in grappling, with only 6 MMA wins, and knocks him out in exactly the same way.
Add in all the pre fight trolling he did to Adesanya's videos, and his general demeanour, and something tells me he might just be an autist a-logging one dude to the max.
