Can't believe the jeets leaking this got me to watch this shitshow. I had to take some excedrin halfway through as it was giving me a migraine due to the piss poor animations.

I'm sure the yellow-on-black Arabic beheading video text at the beginning wasn't originally part of the leak, but, I gotta say, that and the 1XBET ad that I've seen in the first five minutes really add a lot to the production value.

There's a floor in the middle that looks more well kept than the other ones, so I assume that's where the outsourced VFX office is. Hard to believe people would just tolerate these conditions but the regular tenets most likely don't have the money for renovations.

I watched the whole movie and after it was over with the jennifer coolidge villager post credits scene i felt a rush of emptiness and dread wash over me
 
This was one of those movies I had to stop watching after about 10 mins. It was that bad! It felt like watching a movie made for tards that like colors more than kids. The last movie as bad as this one was The Monkey.

I'm sure Mojang is breaking out the champagne and crack over how good this makes their 14 year old Lego builder look.

I think this is a very interesting example of how cultural icons translate across generations of an audience. The Lego Movie worked because adults and children understand and know about Lego even if it's in a casual sense, and the generational perception in it's possibilities is a core part of the film. Here, kids who play the game would recognise Minecraft Steve and parents would recognise Jack Black, but you combine the most definitive aspects of the two together and alienate everyone.

Holy shit they have merchandise.

Anyone else remember the youtube gaming channel Jack Black "started"?
Back when those were still fairly popular and it got all hyped because zomg jack black gaming.
Then it bombed immediately and extremely hard because he didn't do anything at all, some random dude was doing everything.
