Just their living expenses sucked up their cash flow. He did pay minimums on his credit card bills, but he'd be paying minimums regardless of if he was spending newly freed up credit on legos or not. (I think that's how it works.)I meant the value of everything he's bought, would it be about the same figure as how much would be needed to rebuild 14BC?
I hadn't noticed before, but in the video he mentions that Manchester High took him 8 Lego Friends sets the first time he built it. They run between $40 and $60 each... yet there are at least 10 boxes in that stack, probably more.
It's really disgusting how he insists on holding onto these pieces of garbage.
And that goes to the trash "sculpture" he created as well.
Had it been anyone else there could have been some message of innocence lost behind a sculpture made of burnt and melting Legos, but this is Chris and the only message in that piece is "what is a trash can and why should I use it".It's really disgusting how he insists on holding onto these pieces of garbage.

I'll give Chris a little credit here. I bet he threw out the melted parts. Those pictures were just taken as a curiosity. obviously he dragged the melted school back to his new house, but I bet it was just to see what bricks he could salvage from it before tossing out what he couldn't.
I shouldn't give him credit, but I will.
He's got Lego boxes folded up and off to the side, and he put together some of the melted parts into an abstract sculpture. He's not throwing away anything.I'll give Chris a little credit here. Wonder if they still have a Keurig? You have to wonder what other disgusting, melted/burnt items Chris and Barb kept from the house fire.

Dude, I'm older than Chris and I started working when I was 15 years old. My hands don't look anything like that. My grandfathers' do though.I just want to say that seeing his hands makes me realize how old he is now.
Probably would put it up for above retail price. Waaaaaaaaaaay above. He should put the remains of the Keurig that started the fire on ebay.

"MINT CONDITION KEURIG COFFEE BREWER. ONLY SLIGHTLY SMOKE DAMAGED AND A LITTLE BIT OF SCORCH MARKS. NO LOWERBALLERS"
That still sounds like the Sims. When Will Wright suffered a house fire, he had to rebuild his life and all his possessions. This inspired him to create The Sims, one of the most popular games of all time.
When Chris suffered a house fire, he rebuilds his high school complete with people who could give negative two shits about him.
