All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

(Note- The title will change as we get nearer the election, previous titles will be archived in the OP)

I find it remarkable that so many former Bernie voters are buying into the "anti-globalism = anti-semitism" lie being pushed right now by the mainstream media, considering Bernie voters would have been going HAM over Wikileaks if they had dropped back in March.

Seriously, after Podesta Emails, it's not an inaccurate statement at all to say "Hillary Clinton meets with international banks in secret to plot the destruction of US sovereignty". She's a confirmed North American Unionist, or worse.

Any North American Union would result in one thing- unshakable U.S. autocracy. That isn't a person trying to sell their sovereignty, friend. If such a thing were true, that would be a conqueror.

be unable to be affiliated with any politicians/parties (like CNN and the Democratic Party are monetarily affiliated).

It would be selectively enforced against the enemies of whoever the people running it favors.

It wouldn't be run by politicians, but maybe by something similar to the FDA.

They would put people who represent their interests in it like the FDA officials are appointed. Or they would create an entire new agency, like the DEA who refuse to reschedule marijuana from a schedule 1 narcotic and actually blocking doctors from giving their input on the decision like is the normal procedure.

The solution to government being corrupt won't be fixed by the same government appointing people to police the very people who gave them their job.

But it would also result in a radically different definition of American and American values. 600 million people pouring into our country would destroy our nation as we know it, ergo our sovereignty.

I am confused. The population of North America is 528.7 million and America is roughly 320,000,000 people. The Caribbean if counted does not make up the difference. Where are these 400,000,000 coming from?

Edit: nevermind that number is counting the Caribbean actually.

600M might be an exaggeration but Hillary wants to carve an EU-like superstate out of the entire Western Hemisphere. She gave that speech to a Brazilian bank. When Trump says she wants 600 million pouring in, I assume he's referring to people from South America as well.

Shit that includes @AN/ALR-56 doesn't it

It's not impossible. But it is improbable.

There's still about 315 paths to victory for Trump (compared to Clinton's 693, and 16 ways to tie)

Correct. However, many people still (somehow) view a Trump presidency as not only likely but imminent.

I ran across one fellow earlier who was simply foaming at the mouth based on the posts he was writing. He was churning out text wall after text wall ranting on about how if Trump (whom he referred to continually as "Furher") would initiate the end times upon taking office.

At first I laughed at the guy. Then after reading the posts a little more I realized that it wasn't a gimmick--he really believed it. I am not sure what'll happen to guys like that on the day after election day.

It's not impossible. But it is improbable.

Incidentally, the whole "how dare Trump oppose Hillary? She is a woman running for the presidency!" bit that I hear out of Clinton supporters is one the strongest arguments against voting for her that I've seen made.

These people, rather than respecting others' right to vote for whatever schmuck they wish, are basically saying that the only person you should be able to vote for is the one they select for you. Trump is merely a token in this equation because this is fundamentally wrong. The Clintonites need to fess up that professing this belief is not compatible with democracy or admit that they themselves do not believe in democracy.

In a similar vein, the sexism bitching that a great portion of Hillary's supporters take part in is so hypocritical that it's also hysterical. They bitch about some comment out of Trump or someone else...then turn around and say Hillary will "make a great president" or "has to be elected" simply "because she is a woman." That is sexism.

In all honesty, I think after this election is over legitimate complaints about sexism and particularly misogyny will be taken less seriously due to what's gone on. People have spouted those two words around so much that they've become cliched.

Likely nothing. There weren't mass armed insurrections by angry Republicans after Obama's victories in 2008 and 2012, and likely the same will happen if Hillary wins.

The people saying a Trump presidency would lead to mass executions of Mexicans and Muslims are no better than the people saying an Obama presidency would lead to a thousand years of darkness back in 2008 and 2012.

Or the people saying that a Shillary presidancy will lead to WW3/The rise of the NWO.

Has the White House received that fresh coat of black paint yet?

Lets get this thread back on track.

Tell you what Clinton's twitter bio is almost cringey enough to be a criminal offence

"Pantsuit aficionado"

I can't believe that's actually in there. I looked up her Twitter profile to see if that image was bullshit--it's not. Wow.

No armed insurrections but probably some protests, not so much against the election of Hillary but rather against media corps like NYT and CNN. From what I've seen that seems to be where the anger among Trump supporters is starting to channel to.

Cringy as fuck. I wonder if the same person who wrote that grandma Twitter profile is responsible for retweeting John Flynt and other unhinged shit, like the OLD LADY YELLS AT FROG moment that tanked her numbers back in September.
