The fact the Republicans are so big on trying to control the democratic system...and they're flailing about because their usual solution of drowning problems in money isn't working, leaving them at risk of having a nominee they desperately don't actually want nominated since they can't control him.

If Trump actually does get the nomination, I can see a lot of Republicans not actually voting this year - not wanting to give Trump their vote, but at the same time refusing to commit treason and vote for the Democrats who they might consider just as bad as Trump for whatever reason.

Considering that Hillary Clinton ran a Implicitly racist campaign against Obama in 08 and Sanders was an actual civil rights campaigner, I find that number kinda horrifying.

Also, Rubio is really pushing the DONALD CANT SPELL ANGLE

To be fair, at least Sara is a valid spelling of that name.
 
With Clinton being the clear winner of SC, I'm really doubting that the Bern can pull through to win at this point. She got him beat in the minorities despite all the bullshit she's done in the past. It's fucked up.

He doubled down by making shit up and pretending Trump's other tweets were spelled wrong when they weren't. I thought he redeemed himself at the debate, getting a couple good retorts in like "Negotiating with terrorists is not a real estate deal", but euuugh...
 
I don't know what to make of this anymore. It's like I had a botched brain surgery, and everything is a jumbled up picture with no meaning whatsoever.
 
Shouldn't Sanders just go home at this point? Clinton nomination is foregone conclusion, he is just wasting money and fracturing Democratic voter base by staying in the race. I know his logic is that the longer he tries to stays in the race, the more Clinton will be incentivized to try to woo over Sanders-supporters by adopting more progressive campaign platform, but anything Clinton says for the sake of winning over Sanders-supporters is just talk and won't materialize in to real changes in the platform.

Clinton is acting like she is high-and-mighty, which makes her a ticking time bomb. Her failure to platform based on logical reasons for elections (ex. experience), rather than "'cause grill" will blow up in her face, because Trump is going to expose every single flip-flop and contradiction. She might have the DNC stacked in her favor, but with the rise of alternative media (including WikiLeaks), she is going to fall hard.
 
I don't know. I think money speaks volumes, and she will be able to field the support of way more super PACs than Trump. I think some of the Republican super PACs are so anti-Trump they will refuse to back him even after he wins the nomination.

That, and the people I've talked to tend to think that Trump would be less bad than Clinton, even those on the left.
 
The prospect of Trump as president is hard to swallow, but in these times it's good to remember that things will not appreciably improve no matter who the president is and that politics has no real bearing on any of our lives
