All discussion of the candidates, updates and results should go here

For example- here's a video of Ted Cruz vying for world domination.

Also Hilary Clinton is a crook and nobody should have sex with her.

Discuss

(Note- The title will change as we get nearer the election, previous titles will be archived in the OP)

Daddy doesn't care about the party, he cares about the people.
You don't seriously think that he cares about anyone but himself do you? He made sure his family got plenty of time up there, in between Rudy playing with the bones of the dead, insisting there would be no next election and we would all be dead, and illegals killing innocents and cops getting murdered for being police, and how the Obama administration had encouraged violence against the police. And then, for no reason at all other than for Mr. Trump to masterbate his ego...
The night’s headliner, Trump’s wife Melania, stood out, in an all-white dress, as a beacon of positivity, hailing her husband’s tenacity: “He will never, ever give up and most importantly he will never ever let you down.”
:story:
I can't feel very assured about Trump's commitment, especially when this is wife number 3. And while most headliners are the final speaker, they had like four more to go. He had weeks to plan for this, and to tell us how much he cares about us, he gave his family a large chunk of prime time. He gave an interview on Fox during the speech of the MOTHER of one of the victims.
His ego wasn't the only thing either. His campaign manager shit on Kasich, a popular governor in a state the GOP needs badly.

trump atleast has a decently clear 'case record': worked with housing and continued on from his fathers work. i'm not really sure what the fuck the clintons where doing in the 1900s. plus his record dosen't nearly have as many skeletons in the closet as the clintons, all i've read is that he didn't want blacks at some point working for him in trump tower.
(when hillary comes to mind i think of lizardmen theories and benghazi lol)

he's also been playing it really safe when it comes to saying and garnering something in actual debates: he's picked his fights against underdogs so he dosen't have as many thorns in the hedge and he hasn't dumped millions into advertising to seem 'human' like hillary has. when i look at either side i look at trump as a politician and 'decider' at the very least and with hillary i just see someone trying really really hard to be a politician. fuck if we where to look at trumps advertising besides enrolling in a facebook and twitter account (which are free) i'd say his budget for the elections isn't a fraction of what hillary has been pitting against him and bernie.

Its like the comments from most news websites are leaking in :stress:

Paul Manafort said:
Imean, she was speaking in front of 35 million people last night. She knew that. To think that she would be cribbing Michelle Obama’s words is crazy.

I mean, this is once again an example of when a woman threatens Hillary Clinton, how she seeks out to demean her and take her down. Its not going to work.
Yes, because a team of speech writers being lazy is less likely than Barrack Obama being a Muslim, which Antonio Sobato Jr. felt the need to remind us...for some reason :sighduck:

Does it really matter who wins this election? Because we're fucked either way.

Don't worry, no matter who wins the senate and house will still be so braindead and unable to agree on even the simplest legislation that neither candidate will actually be able to push their agendas anyway. Four more years! (Of nothing getting done)

:coster::coster::coster::coster::coster::coster::coster:

@Coster get over here somebody's horning in on your game
Seriously, what the fuck happened? I liked the platforms parts on abortion marriage and religious liberty, but seeing that benediction is living proof for me as to what Trump really cares about this election.
It was like someone did a Hollywood production of what liberals think would happen. The 'preacher' was a real great pick choice, mixing up two very volitile things, religion with politics.
Mark Burns said:
Hello Republicans! I am Mark Burns from the great state of South Carolina. I am going to pray and I am going to give the benediction. And you know why? Because we are electing a man in Donald Trump who believes in the name of Jesus Christ. And Republicans- we got to be united- because our enemy is not other Republicans- but is Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party. Let us pray together.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we are so thankful for the life of Donald Trump. We are thankful that you are guiding him, that you are giving him the words to unite this party, this country, that together we can defeat the liberal Democratic Party, to keep us divided and not united. Because we are the United States of America and we are the conservative party under God. To defeat every attack that comes against us, to protect the life of Donald Trump, give him the words, give him the peace, give him the power and authority to be the next President of the United States — in Jesus name, if you believe it shout Amen.
A few Evangelical friends of mine are really unhappy, and a bit concerned. I don't blame them, beside the fact that it felt more like a fucking trip to a snake handler's church, some people see a lot of implications.

The real question is who Trump's will be.
He's already pre-emptively thrown libertarians, interventionists, evangelicals, neo-cons, and globo-capitalists under the bus. All he has to do now is guilt them into thinking he's the only thing saving them from Reptillary.

It's actually working very well, and only works better every time the Obama team refuses to describe a man firing an assault rifle into a crowd of gays while shouting out Qu'ranic scripture as an Islamist, and indeed doubling down that Islamic Terrorism has nothing whatsoever to do with Islam.

Sister Souljah was the designated victim last time around.

I honestly think the most likely target of such a maneuver is going to be the very dangerhairs and smug creeps who she's been throwing at "Berniebros" and the like. I will really relish the howls of anger and despair when she shafts those fuckers. I may even like her a bit again.

But someone gets to be the sacrifice. That is and always has been the way of the Clintons.
I'm not so hopeful, but this actually makes good strategic sense.

Evangelicals actually stand a chance at either not voting at all or voting for Hillary out of disgust towards the proud adulterer and casino parasite they have as a realistic alternate. So much so that Utah's up in the air. Dangerhairs have consistently supported Clinton even when she was against a man who was in every way more liberal than she's ever been. She has even less reason to veer leftwards for their support now that she's running against the most openly racist politician the country's seen since the death of Jesse Helmes.

Then again, this would require Hillary Clinton to make an intelligent decision. Something she's yet to demonstrate in her entire political career.

Clinton has used her devotion to the Methodist church to great effect. And Trump still has to court the Catholics. He's split in some polls with white Catholics, and slightly behind in others. He can get a trickle of more conservative Catholics, as long he doesn't act like an agrangizing asshole like the benediction. It is going to take more than a platform of social conservative goods to get more on his side. Especially with Pence being the governor who tried to get Catholic Charitable Services to not provide care for refugees. Clinton has her own mess of problems in many Catholic eyes, but many of them vote Democrat anyway. Might have to do with most of the other Republican Catholics being more embarassing to Christianity as a whole

This election has taught me more than anything previous in my short life how black voters who bother using their brain's higher functions must feel every time they head to the ballot box.

Why can't we just have a coup and put this whole tragic farce to bed?

Rumor is David Duke is considering another run for Congress.
And I wouldn't take Clinton lightly. She can be a cut throat operator, and for all the shit I say about her being a plotting snake in the grass, I have to give her credit at being a politician with knowledge. Seeing how Congress would handle her Presidency would be an interesting thing to witness, if just to see how they operate together. Terrible, but no less than a man with what is clearly a Messiah complex, a history of using his gut over his brain, and if people who called out Obama will call him out for baiting.
