If all people want is the vague shape of the thing they want to be represented through they don't care about the art or the context of the story. They're telling you that none of the things that went into the story or world of the piece of media matters because there isn't a black or indian person there for them to slide themselves into and feel a part of the world. It's ironic considering how these people claim racism but are telling you that the only thing important about them is the chance of them being born a minority and nothing they have done means anything because being a minority is the only accolade they have.I feel for you. Despite all the "White man bad" stuff that gets pushed, one form of abuse we tend not to get is being patronised. If every time a White man came on screen, Cardi B started playing, I'd be pretty pissed too. (Note, I know so little about current rap and related, that's the first name I could come up with).
I've always said that these people are the biggest issue to creativity because they don't actually care about the very concept of creativity.
