The Thanos in Endgame was not that Thanos, it was Thanos-5 who had never met any of the people he was fighting before and jumped to the conclusion that they undid the Snap and instantly went Omnicidal and did not even question "Hey did it not go as I think it would?"
I'll grant you that it was a different, weaker Thanos who fought the Avengers in Endgame, but he knew what was going on thanks to Nebula. He even knew to wait until the Avengers scooped up all the Infinity Gems to attack (it wasn't instant, because he waited like 6 years before launching his invasion of earth).

. Who was ever clamoring for that retarded movie to happen in the first place?
Gambit was huge in the 90s because of the cartoon, and Channing is literally from the area. it was a mirror version of Ryan and Deadpool in a way. a fan who is also near perfect for the part cast in the role for a massive blockbuster. the biggest differance is that Gambit actually has some quality storylines whereas Deadpool is just a character you can put in any stupid fucking plot.

I guess you already know mulitverse villian secret wars old king thanos

King Thanos is for one of those rides they have at their parks, not for the movies.

True that you can put him in any kind of story for a retarded role, but DP has arguably more quality storylines than Gambit.

Apparently there's a rumor that Disney wants to put out a RDJ Doom film before the Avengers movie. The plot is supposedly about Tony Stark going down a different path after he escapes the cave in the first Iron Man movie, becoming Doom rather than Iron Man. If true, I wonder what this means for the actual Victor von Doom.

I could dig it but id rather they went the batman route and had him in makeup so he could lose himself in the role tropic thunder style.

They explicitly called him Victor Von Doom on stage, so I dunno how true that rumour is. Could all be a huge lie though.

Yeah, they like to lie about stuff like this. They had Dafne Keen consistently deny she was in Deadpool & Wolverine, for example (they also did the same for some other cameo, though I can't remember which right now). Could go either way.

Did anyone even read Ironheart? Genuine question, I stopped paying attention before 2016. I can understand Ms Marvel since she was kind of a breakout character, but this feels like making a Batwing series.
The only thing I know about Ironheart is that there's a JAV of the same name that, rather hilariously, also came out in 2016. It's probably got better acting than the MCU's version, idk I haven't seen either, it's just one of hose weird bits of trivia that comes up to fuck with people.

Least it's upfront about cashing in on Iron Man...

It might be like how Ben Kingsley was not the actual Mandarin and the charactet was a role, but then they did a 180 and had the real Mandarin be the father of Shang-Chi.

Yeah, people liked Gambit but the Channing Gambit movie was just some goofy concept that floated around online for a minute. I don't recall anyone demanding a fucking Channing Tatum Gambit movie. I remember for years people thought (younger) Van Damme should have played Gambit, while everyone and their mother hated that retard in Wolverine Origins.

Channing was, he wasted fucking years trying to get that movie off the ground literally like Ryan with deadpool, hell if it weren't for that "leak" Deadpool would still be a "what if" If Fox didn't have their heads up their asses i think we would have had our first deadpool movie way back in the mid 2000s,

I remember this. The main kicker around this porno is that it came out before what's her nuts was rebranded as Ironheart.

Saw Deadpool and Wolverine at a kind of late showing a state over or so last night with my dad since the AMC near us was killed by the company during lockdowns and we're like in a weird kinda spot where there's jack shit around theater wise unless you want really small theaters or travel to the nearest state which is like right nearby and not a super long drive. Anyways that has fuck all to do with anything interesting, I'm posting to say my feeling on the movie not the dynamics of traveling in a car after being hit in the head and finding out the theatre only had either a 3d showing or a normal showing after 9 PM by the time we got there. Brace for impact because it's about to get rambly. Thought there was a thread for movie but all the posts seem to be in here to the point I can't find the other thread if there even was one.

Judging by how the rest of FOX properties got after Disney bought them out and changed the name to "searchlight" and "20th century studios" I'm kinda surprised they let this movie make the jokes people were making about Disney the last several years since the buyout. Honestly shocked with the amount of familiar-ish digs at Disney's BS that there wasn't a comment about how they just bought fox for the rest of marvel and the OT of star wars. Also hey they referenced stuff Disney doesn't own in one or two lines that's kind of a return to the pre-corpo litigation nightmare stuff going on since like 2015 where if you mention something your company doesn't own they can sue you and make you change it for "damage" or whatever. I remember a bunch of Japanese stuff that referenced stuff they didn't own got completely raw dogged by IP holders to the point one show literally had to remove it's first episode from circulation permanently because they parodied attack on titan or some wild nonsense.

Technically Netflix scott pilgrim did this "returning to referencing shit your corpo overlords don't own"a bit too so this isn't the first time it's come back, But Netflix scott pilgrim also had it's own weird shit going on where it changes amazon to Netflix and isn't even the same story because Netflix wanted the author to re-write the whole fucking thing for "modern audiences" or some shit like that and the series we ended up with was basically a compromise so that the series would still happen. There wasn't really any calling out Netflix on their BS in that one so this Deadpool movie is the first media thing in a while I've seen to do the kinda stuff people that fucking had gripes with the companies funding them were able to speak about through jokes without getting strong armed. OF course since it's already been done by other people NOT owned by Disney the last few years it had less of an impact but it's kind of the thought that counts when your movie is in development hell eternally post buyout. The whole film itself seems to have just kinda evolved into basically a comedic swan song tribute for the films that came out before Disney bought FOX, as well as the Disney funded Marvel before they started pulling the Sony ghostbusters tactics for every fucking film they put out and put less and less effort into the story of films. Media talk about the movie before it came out kept making a big stink about how this is going to be the intro of the MCU X men but then it wasn't because they go back to the FOX X men universe at the end and I am completely fucking FINE with that.

You know if Disney had more control over the production of this thing like they do most MCU shit now it'd be the usual "bait and switch sequel" where the character that's the title hero is actually second fiddle to some "cool NEW character!" that's like personality-less genderswap version of themselves or some small child they were supposed to protect with that same personality but played slightly with more confused emotion because the kid is a kid and kids do that. There'd probably be also logical holes like an electric fence they can easily walk around having to be disabled for some reason so they can get through the thing that isn't even an obstacle to them. You know, THAT kind of shit writing.

Since I saw it with someone else I might as well bring up their opinions on it, which was "kinda too much fighting" and "some scenes dragged on/felt stretched out". Mostly positive opinions otherwise but I kinda get/have similar gripes though I'm also fine with the fighting because it serves a point to cement just how much wolverine fucking hates Deadpool in this movie. Not quite as solid as the first 2 movies and a lot of the references are going to be extremely dated in a few years, but still a pretty enjoyable and solid experience if you watched the first two. A hell of a lot more solid narratively than any of the recent fucking MCU output, that's for sure.

They, literally, died on the way to their home planet.

Even the cliffhanger points that way.

leaked con footage of CA4 has them being the source of adamantium, so they're not abandoning the Eternals completely

Yeah but it's just dealing with the VERY CONSPICUOUS loose plot thread of a stone giant emerging from the sea. They can't ignore it forever, so might as well use it for this.
"What happened with the dead celestial? Oh we mined it for Adamantium and it's gone now"

iirc there's also an Eternal there as a representative when they're disclosing the info about adamantium
