Same reason why Batman knows numerous literal gods but never asks them to fix the physical/mental ailments of the usual Arkham crowd.
 
I haven't read the comics in years, but Silk could work in a new Spider-Man movie now that notMJ is gone. Could make her a doomed romantic interest for Peter if you get a cute and charismatic actress. Either her or Black Cat.

But they'll probably just fuck it up.

He's telekinetic. Not as much as Jean, but he is.

Later on, after he got his legs back, he's shown significantly more powerful telekinesis.

It's not technically part of the MCU, but I figured it might as well be posted here.
Looks about on par with the last two films.
 
Eh I liked the venom movies. Dumb, but fun in a 90s way. Im curious to see how it ends. It seems like he's going to pass the torch to someone else or an alt version of himself.

You can't have Black Cat as a romantic interest for Peter in the MCU because Tom Holland is tiny and looks like a weirdly aged 14 year old. Black Cat has to be a tall and highly athletic woman. And frankly, an adult. The pairing would just feel icky.

If you go by the 80s comics fling, it could work. Felicia was only attracted to Spider-Man, not Peter. As soon as he took off the mask, she was turned off.

Really? Well that would work but it's also something that MCU wouldn't do. For one, they wouldn't be interested in either the idea or the messaging, for two they'd think it would turn off the teenage boy audience and they're probably right (the hot villain lady doesn't find my stand-in power fantasy attractive, what is this shit?). And for three, it's a little icky to raise. MCU isn't really designed for any kind of more complex story themes than "found family is better than actual family".

To be fair, MJ is also meant to be a 10/10 redhead supermodel, and they cast Zendaya instead. But anyway, I see Black Cat as a doomed relationship. There's no other significant love interests aside from the already done and dead Gwen Stacy and Kitty Pryde...

Huh... now I have the mental image of Tom Holland and post-surgery Ellen Page being awkward as fuck together.
