“He was in the Amazon with my Mom when she was researching spiders right before she died”Yeah yeah, not MCU, but Sony's got them by the balls with their shit connected through the multiverse, so

Straight up CW show shit
Julia Carpenter was the second Spider-Woman after Jessica Drew and later got renamed Arachne to differentiate her and Jessica's Spider-Woman. Her black and white outfit was the one to inspired Peter Parker to go with that color scheme when he found and use the Venom symbiote. One of the many Spider-Girls (or Spider-Women, whichever it was I don't recall, but her name is Julia Carpenter) became the new Madame Web years ago
That's who they're going with for the movie
Just another Amy Pascal movie starring only women. Her Ghostbusters 2016 was a complete failure but she still wants to do it with the Spider-Man IP.Yeah yeah, not MCU, but Sony's got them by the balls with their shit connected through the multiverse, so

Obviously, he'll need work after taking the 9 iron from the roid beast. Also: Pedro Pascal has APPARENTLY signed on as Mr. Fantastic.

John has the look, but you need a bit more than that to play such a classic character. Anyway, Pedro's in high demand right now so it could go either way.they got it right the first time with John Krasinski
wonder if he was smart enough to see the obvious downward trend of the MCU and went, "nah, i'm not signing on full time"
He played him perfectly well in Multiverse of Madness. It was probably the best I've ever seen him portrayed -- he actually had a spine and looked like he could kick someone's ass. I think most people forget that Reed is a legit bad ass that served in the military (originally in the OSS during WW2 but Marvel's sliding time scale has obviously changed that).John has the look, but you need a bit more than that to play such a classic character. He has the chops to play a smug douchebag.John has the look, but you need a bit more than that to play such a classic character.
Good riddance. Shang Chi sucked. People joked about America Chavez's exposition scene above, but its actually quite elegant to watch the characters react to their own backstory than have endless boring fucking flashbacks where the retard director squirts out his big budget crouching tiger fanfiction. The director for Kang Dynasty is out. He's going to be directing Shang-Chi 2 instead (he directed the original film).
Truth be told, I only watched MoM once. I should give it another go.He played him perfectly well in Multiverse of Madness. I like Pedro Pascal well enough but I don't really like him for this role.
I go back and forth on how much I liked that movie. Sam Raimi's horror touches and visual flair really elevate it but at the same time the pacing and structure are awful and underneath Raimi's style is still a very generic MCU film.Truth be told, I only watched MoM once. I should give it another go.

it's kinda funny to consider the idea that new characters can only be white in alternate realitieshe's white
!00% done now... Murval can fuck right off...
And Pedo Pascal can choke on a cock.

So, it's Final Destination without the gore and mass convoluted deaths?Yeah yeah, not MCU, but Sony's got them by the balls with their shit connected through the multiverse, so

You're not wrong, Raimi's direction was doing some monumental lifting to keep things engaging. Funnily enough, what I wanted from MoM I actually got from Loki in terms of meaningful multiverse content. That's what it took?
There's two Reeds, goofy screw up and serious Reed when things get serious. I think John could have done both.
Pedro....
I just...its story sucks. You have a great director, sure. But it's a VERY dumb story with Wanda stupid evil.
