Eh, he's probably doing fine considering both seasons of his show are among the highest rated (small miracles given recent MCU fare). As for that sidelined thing, can't say I agree after the finale. Some might say he's the most important character in the entire MCU right now.
The seasons being highly rated doesn't mean they're not garbage from a writing standpoint and him getting an arbitrarily big power level number in the last 10 minutes of the last episode doesn't mean he wasn't basically a tetiary character in his own series.

Him literally getting plot powers at the end definitely makes up for the fact that 90% of the show called "loki" was fat ugly sheboons yelling about the multiverse at one another.

Some things I just found out.

The Marvels trailer became the most-disliked MCU trailer on YT in it's first 24 hrs. of release.

As per an article [A] last October, Brie Larson apparently wants to quit Captain Marvel & Marvel in general.

This thing exists.

Can't exactly blame her, she's in some pretty subpar movies playing a plank of wood, and then she has autists treating her like the devil. As mentioned many times in this thread, she seemed more interested in other things she has been involved with. Hell I won't be surprised if she has more passion for that Scott Pilgrim anime than her role in Captain Marvel.

Secret Wars can't come soon enough.

All she had to do was not be a bitch. Perhaps she had to play an asshole, but there was no necessity to extend that role into real life.

She gets no sympathy.

Seems like kind of a bad sign that they're relying on Fox nostalgia instead of hard rebooting like they did with Spider-Man (initially). I assume the old FF movies are too shitty even by current MCU standards and we'll not be discussing them further.

There is the slight problem of Chris Evans (Captain America) being Johnny Storm (Human Torch) in those FF movies. With him wanting out of the Disney MCU, trying to bring him back as another comic book character isn't going to fly. Plus the Hellen Keller* normies will be wondering why Captain America is now flying around while completely on fire instead of playing frisbee with his shield.

One thing's for sure: it won't be as hilarious as Batman and Robin. Arnold had the time of his life.
I stand by saying the biggest miss in that movie was that, for all the Ice Puns that Arnie was making, they had Coolio in that movie and he WASN'T one of Arnie's henchmen. That should've been the easiest shit to shuffle his cameo to...

At this point, I just wanna know what's going to be the MCU's equivalent to Batman and Robin, and if it'll do the same type of damage...
I would say it was Love and Thunder

I still hold that Quantumania wasn't as bad as people say it is, but Love and Thunder really broke the seal and after it, people at large really felt free to go all out shitting on the MCU.

Did the shill cheques bounce, or did those get cut off when they started slashing budgets for these movies?
It's all a show from Marvel now to pump shit content, go into a drought, then comeback with a home run with some new superhero or something.

They will make people think their content is bad, so after a year (or two) they make a new (good) movie that everyone shills at and they call it the "Marvel renaissance" and start all over again.

This is the Disney way, and is no coincidence it started after it was aquired by Disney. This is what they do. It worked for them before and it will work now.

They'd have to actually make a good movie for that to be successful. Call me a pessimist, but I don't see the godawful writing getting fixed without a MAJOR overhaul up to and including firing the entire writing staff they have at the moment. Possibly even clean house at the executive level. And even with that there's no guarantee that whoever they hire will be any better.

Having actual showrunners for their streaming side will be a start. Seriously, how the fuck did they put out 5+ shows without a single one? I've never heard of such a thing.
