“Secret invasion” eh? I hope that the remnants of SHIeLd are a bit more vigilant post-Winter Soldier. The movies made it look like 90% were Hydra members.

Wasn't he a member of the Black Panthers? Dude was always a radical dick. That's why I asked if theirs going to be a Thomas stand in in Secret Invasion because he did that for Django Unchained.
I remember he didn't like the sequel trilogy not because the movies were shit no because they cast a black British man and not black American.

Thing is, Gunn got fired because of a controversy based on decade old jokes he had already apologized for. That shit was ridiculous and all the shit they got for it was fully deserved (also, the NPC backlash against the firing was, in part, becasue the outrage about the jokes came from the right, not the left).
Majors' case is the kind of thing Hollywood will usually shoot you in the head and throw you out of the moving car for immediately. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see some presumption of innocence in play at least functionally, but like with Miller, I'm certain their hesitation to yeet him is at least half due to identity politics (the other half being how much Marvel and DC had riding on the Kang and the TheyThem cunts, respectively).

I see posts like this on facebook all the time. "Wolverine is in this movie", "Deadpool is in THAT movie". It's just throwing shit at the wall until they get something right. I don't buy this for a second. If they'd go so far as to bring Jane back in Thor and have her die for real, I don't think Pete and MJ are getting back together.

also so as an Adam Warlock mark back in the day has he done anything in the MCU yet? I recall his HIM pod showed up in GotG 1 and I've heard he pops up for a hot minute in something but tbh I really don't want to try to care just to be butthurt he don't got the Allman Brothers Band hair even through the end of 3

He’s supposed to be in GotG3 as a major character, from what I understand.

oh yeah, from the footage I've seen I've already got my nerd rage ready to go if his ponytail doesn't go loose, that's why I'm checking if MCU Warlock has really done anything more than "sup, I'm HIM aka Adam Warlock and I might matter later kthxbye"
