I’ve said this before, but they should’ve just recast him with the guy who played the protagonist from Tenet. The jokes write themselves but I was actually surprised to find out that that character wasn’t played by Chadwick Boseman.

Honestly I can understand a little on that one since the guy died and it was out of respect.

But I agree that Majors is honestly a easy recast. Disney and Marvel seem to think he's more famous than he really is.

Either that or they are unsure of the whole legal process. If somehow Majors is proven innocent, they can reuse him. However, I bet the Marvel guys are probably asking these recasting questions themselves at this point and are very panicked. Can't exactly blame them.

It's less that they really think it and just that they're trying super hard to push it. It's clear they told actors and journalists to do it too since they all bend over backwards to kiss the dude's ass whenever he's brought up.

Because people would probably call it racist or something is my guess. They easily did it to white women and men, but black ones, different story, in their minds.

Not that it matters because regardless of how this issue ends, the MCU had been stained and many folks won’t see the Kang films simply due to Majors alone.

My theory is that they're staying quiet now because the last time they fired someone because of a controversy (James Gunn), they got called out by most of the internet and the entire cast of Guardians. If, and it's a big if at this point, they fire Majors now and it turns out he's innocent it'd be a shitstorm of epic proportions. They probably want to wait and see how bad things are.
