Well that’s fucking retarded, since pretty much every “multiverse” movie/show so far has had a completely different explanation for how the multiverse even works. That’s if they’re even consistent within their own runtime. It would almost work better if they didn’t bother explaining it at all.

If you want something fun because of the issues the MCU has presented, there's actually a popular meme among MCU fans that there's a separate "MCU multiverse" which depending who you ask is completely identical to the actual Marvel multiverse but with the MCU replacing the comics universe. This is also based on the Illuminati in Dr. Strange 2 telling him he's from "616" even though it's only based on whatever classification their world uses.

This would've been avoided if Loki and What If didn't get scenes cut. We know from interviews about Loki that the TVA were only pruning realities that branch off from the MCU specifically and not the entire multiverse since other Marvel media was obviously still coming out. Similarly, the What If head writer actually had explanations for inconsistencies like Ultron still being able to use the Infinity Gems outside his universe but they didn't make it into the show.

The MCU using the multiverse is still a massive fucking mistake though. I don't think they can not fuck it up.

Honestly, the more I see of this show, the more I hate this. In fact, that Daredevil might just struck a second of anger in me, it looks the OG Yellow & Red version which I fucking hate. That's not even counting some other woes of this.

I honestly don't dislike it, but it feels somewhat bland, also how the fuck did they kill off T'Challa anyway? Did they retcon him to dying in Infinity War as a martyr of Earth or something? It's also surprising to see Shuri's actress back considering her "wrongthink" about vaccines which Don Cheadle & Mark Ruffalo acted like a faggot to her about.

I hated this suit originally, I hate it here too. It always looked like piss, it looks like that even moreso here. Also, is it just me, or does the suit look like the Shocker?

The only thing that surpasses the red auit is the Shadowland suit.

Prints money, duh." Throw enough random crap at the wall and hope something sticks and people keep shilling out for Disney+.

They really need to fire Kevin Feige and get someone with a bit of passion in to replace him. IIRC, it was said some time after MCU Blade was confirmed that he may be a Muslim. Also, comedy isn't the issue, in fact, most issues MCU has are something Snipes Blade did fine at it's time.

Comedy? It was done well, helped make Blade feel human from his usual stoic & brooding self, & was actually funny. Unlike the Whedon-esque bullshit we've been getting:

Fights? Very soulful & fun to watch. Wesley Snipes was trained & choreographed some of his own fights, meaning they don't feel bland or generic like MCU does. Granted the CGI does not hold up well, but to be fair, these films are old, & still feel kino. Even the 3rd one felt good, & that's one the worst just by the sole fact of how Snipes got fucked over.

Yeah, I was somewhat angry for a second on the DD's piss suit, but this is pure agony inducing. Scott's pretty much my favourite character in MCU, he's pretty much the reason I loved 2nd film (that I found Ghost girl kinda cute). Now he's fucking ruined because Hollyweird hates good parents. The last good beacon of having good fathers & father figures in Hollywood might be Netflix's Cobra Kai.

Y'know, I just realised. Falcon & Ant-Man are the same in that regard of using stolen suits as powers. It's just Scott that's much more likeable as a person, unlike Falcon (which is kinda weird caue Anthony Mackie seems kinda based IRL).

Exactly, it's like HW thinks it's some sort of sin to be a good father, specially white ones. It's part of the reason I like Cobra Kai (despite the teen drama bits), you got both a great father & a great father-figure.

Also, adding to your point, there's something even worse than the good father genocide, the single mother propaganda. Most children raised by single mother are either pathetic guys, or cunty girls. It rarely ever works for modern 1st worlders to be single mother children.

So what I'm getting from this trailer is that she is unearned better than Hulk in every meaningful way because she's female for no apparent reason. Aliens? Terminator 2? These heroines were liked because they were capable and motivated by virtues. Current writers don't distinguish between being a capable woman and humiliating men. In fact, I believe that's what they like.

In the comics She-Hulk got a trade-off. She wasn't near the Hulk's strength but at the same time she could maintain her intellect and personality - albeit a version of herself that was essentially on a permanent buzz / slightly drunk. What I'm seeing in this trailer is someone who is just better than a popular hero because. It's like the Worf effect, really. How can we sell this character as great? Have her humiliate existing character X. Shuri is correcting Stark's engineering whilst repairing Vision, She-Hulk is out-throwing Hulk, the WASP is out-fighting Ant-man (not as egregious but on the spectrum), Captain Marvel is out-doing Thor with the big stuff. Scarlet Witch is out-magicking Dr. Strange. The pattern is repeated over and over. Establish well-liked male hero. New female character is introduced by trouncing male hero without earning it.

I should write an essay called "Memoirs of my larval phase". I can intellectually recall times when this stuff excited me but not the associated emotion. Looking back it just seems like Stimulus-Response rooted mostly in a desire to fit in / go with the group. Having more perspective from less free time is certainly a part of being more selective but I genuinely think we're just all in the process of waking up more over time. And that modern Western society is experiencing a very prolonged psychological childhood. Trying to imagine our fathers or grandfathers getting excited about collecting little plastic dolls or spending all night playing video games is just weird. Their wives would have thought they lost their minds.
