IIRC they already had successful movies under their belts before signing on with Marvel; at least I know Derrickson was behind Sinister. So they never really needed Marvel outside a slight career boost.Scott Derrickson and Watts showing what they can do without marvel makes me happy.

I mean they're pretty decent to good directors, probably helps their movies in the MCU were also pretty good.Scott Derrickson and Watts showing what they can do without marvel makes me happy.
Kang dynasty has the goofiest name of the bunch and I honestly can't wait for the Kang memes, I miss this type of shitposting seen belowattaching to the post leaked by Trademarks:

I'm probably going to provoke spergouts from my lack of knowledge but... The Thunderbolts were an alternative Avengers put together by Norman Osbourne, right? Utilising some of the more grey / villainous supers? Does that mean we get Norman Osbourne in the MCU? I mean, we already have but he was an alternative universe one that I can't see returning. Also, that Osbourne said that his company didn't exist in this universe so it's not looking likely for an Osbourne close enough to the comics version to exist to fulfil that role.Thunderbolts eh. Neat.
The original Thunderbolts was put together by Baron Zemo as a bunch of d-list villains pretending to be heroes as a cover for committing crimes, but they eventually decided they actually preferred being heroes and dropped the crime bit. It wasn't until later after the Super-human Registration Act that it became a Suicide Squad ripoff under Osbourne.I'm probably going to provoke spergouts from my lack of knowledge but... Ah-ha! Okay, interesting. So which do you think we will get? The Baron Zemo version (he lives in Civil War, iirc) or the Osbourne version? Or some third version that has neither? I guess the first makes more sense though no disrespect to the actor but I'm not sure Zemo from Civil War can carry off the part of a big villain. He was the central villain in Civil War in a way but his function was more of a catalyst than anything else. He doesn't have much in the way of actual power or charisma that I saw to take a leading role in such a group. On the other hand, one Osbourne is dead and another Osbourne seems to have never existed. So not sure how they'll have that version. Maybe this spin-off "Freshman Year" project could introduce him but if it had then Peter in No Way Home would have heard of this universe. The original Thunderbolts was put together by Baron Zemo as a bunch of d-list villains pretending to be heroes as a cover for committing crimes, but they eventually decided they actually preferred being heroes and dropped the crime bit. Written themselves into a corner, I think.
Hmmm. I want to say Vulture lived and he's criminally connected enough to do this whilst at the same time being not motivated by some crazy idea that would preclude him from doing just regular financially motivated stuff. However at the end of NWH he ended up in another universe. Which made zero sense for both in-universe reasons and from the perspective of the franchise's success.Don't know, though I doubt they'll introduce Osbourne for it. Wouldn't put it past them to do a straight Suicide Squad ripoff given the success of Gunn's film for DC, though I always preferred the original concept of them reforming of their own free will and then helping others to do the same, rather then because they've got bombs in their heads.
Zemo probably will be part of it as he's about the only villain they have that actually ended up in prison instead of dead.
But we will get even more diversity with our movie ironheart.lol "here is endless trash" summarizes the MCU panel
phase 4: fuck all happened
phase 5: fuck all happens, but it only lasts like 8 months! PROGRESS!
Gonna be honest, I completely forgot that existed. Even Armour Wars takes up more real estate in my memory. But we will get even more diversity with our movie ironheart.
Well that’s fucking retarded, since pretty much every “multiverse” movie/show so far has had a completely different explanation for how the multiverse even works. That’s if they’re even consistent within their own runtime. It would almost work better if they didn’t bother explaining it at all. That leak was 100% correct - next Avengers movie(s) are The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. They both release in 2025. Phase 4 to Phase 6 is officially called "Multiverse Saga".
EDIT:
Phase 6 (so far) is FF4 and the two Avengers movies.
but she going to be super black and diverse with her origin being Wakanda instead of American & tony stark tech.Gonna be honest, I completely forgot that existed. Even Armour Wars takes up more real estate in my memory.
