So, I wasn't even looking for Deadpool and Wolverine spoilers, but they are all over Twitter right now whether you are looking for them or not.

The funny thing is this though: I've had NONE of the plot spoiled for me ... Just the cameos. That's kind of a big red flag about the quality of this movie, I'm afraid. lol.

I'm going to see it sometime this week or next weekend, but like I said before: My expectations are managed.

The story is the weakest aspect according to reviews. It seems more interested in just being wacky, which I guess after all the multiverse shit is a breath of fresh air.

EDIT:
They just confirmed that Adamantium will be introduced to the MCU and it's what Celestials are made out of. Giancarlo Esposito is playing Sidewinder, King of the Serpent Society in Brave New World.

So it's just a fun romp between likeable actors playing their legacy characters? Fair enough.

But it's definitely coming across as a lesser version of Spider-Man: No Way Home to me at the moment. No Way Home is the only MCU movie that has done these "multiverse cameos" well, because they actually paid service to the movie's plot.

All I hope for right now is that this movie doesn't do any retconning of Logan. Logan is one of the best damn comic book movies ever made (and it is THE best of the past decade), and I don't want that movie's legacy shat all over by the MCU.

Went to see Deadpool and friends, my homie Wesley snipes is back, day saved, some kid behind me for some reason remember the song of the rave party in Blade 1

The more I think about it, the less I like No Way Home. I really liked how everyone came back, and Dafoe, Molina and Garfield were as good as ever, but so much of the plot relies on people being absolute retards to allow anything to happen…

I think it's flat out terrible besides the performances of returning characters. the plot is complete nonsense and full of insane plot holes people just ignore because they want to like it.

The Russos are coming back for Avengers 5 and Secret Wars.

Edit:
Avengers 5 is officially titled "AVENGERS DOOMSDAY". RDJ is back and he's playing Doom.
Not a joke.

Multiverse Tony Stark that was evil, I guess.

Gonna be great to watch an iconic character played by a charismatic actor that everyone likes get dunked on by a bunch of sassy chicks and annoying niggers.

I mean there was nothing they could've done to make me want to see it, but now I actively want it to fail hilariously.

they went full retard. RDJ is a dude, playing a dude, disguised as another dude!

it will be like face/off and he will get RDJ's face implanted to cause havoc in the main MCU universe because he's Stark smart and could blend in, but Doom is like Marvel's final boss in comics why make him another guy? this is fucking GAY.

The MCU suffering after RDJ leaves the franchise as the key hero. Bringing him back as the biggest villain yet. Is on track with how once beloved franchises have been going.

It's just sad, when you have to hire a 59 actor shoe horned into a role to generate interest. It's not the win you think it is, it's a cope. Hell what about Christoph Waltz as dome at least he has an accent. The next couple of films bar Thunderbolts is just an elaborate set of memberberries, which sure week 1 generate views and revenue but over time are a poisoned chalice. They fucked up so hard on relying on RDJ, he's a great actor not amazing but great.

Also Ford is apparently set to be in multiple films and is 82...

The problem is they are going to try and make Doom a sympathetic villain like Thanos but they are just completely different ends of the spectrum. Doom just is a really shallow character that is tied so close to his mask, that if he has no mask its just RDJ larping with a shitty European accent. The desperation is so high in orbit, it's a fucking dyson sphere at this point.

Worst case scenario they are going to make that DEI Iron man (Iron heart) beat him to send a message

I won’t spoil anything, but the way they “conclude” the Logan arch is kind of interesting, and depending on your bias you’ll either completely hate it or love it. I saw some people say it’s a lesser version of NWH, but in my opinion it does a lot of things better than NWH did. I’d say it’s worth watching, but don’t go in expecting anything more than “fan service that ties up nicely at the end”, lots of plot threads from 2 are completely abandoned, and apart from the funny blind negro woman and Vanessa the first Deadpool film is essentially completely forgotten here. It is more of an overall “MCU wacky romp” as opposed to what someone would expect from a Deadpool sequel that could expand on Domino or Cable’s stories.

If RDJ had not been Iron Man for all of these years, I would have actually been pleased with this casting. Alas ... This just feels so gimmicky and ... Meh. I'm not excited. Dr. Doom is one of the best Marvel villains ... He deserves to be more than a "Multiverse Bad Guy Tony Stark." What the hell?

Half of the movie's budget is going into RDJ's paycheck too, lol. I imagine that's the only way they convinced him to come back.

Also, with all of these MCU movies being so trigger happy with the cameos, the novelty is going to wear off entirely by the time Secret Wars comes out.

Casting RDJ as Doctor Doom has got to be the most confused I've been by a casting decision in a long time.

Just got home from D&W, it was a blast. Just stupid fun and the unexpected cameos blew me away.
Chris Evans as Johnny Storm instead of Steve Rogers was a fantastic gag, leading into all the other wild Fox Marvel cameos. Yeah the story was comparatively a little weak, but everything else was top notch imo. The fight choreography was very visceral and hilarious, I couldn't stop giggling all through the opening scene. The final fight scene with Wolverine *finally* donning the mask was worth the ticket price alone, and DP flubbing the dismount and immediately bemoaning it followed by all the other Deadpool's getting back up was an obvious but still great gag as well.

Honestly it was pretty much everything I hoped for. I'm not going to a Deadpool movie for Oscar cinema, I'm going because it's just a good time.
