They made him look cool in the trailer with that team-up attack with Wolverine. Maybe there's been a change behind the scenes.
 
I am curious about the budget for F4, remember they are just doing this for Doom to get to Battleworld and then their obvious reboot. The casting is bizarre frankly but I am glad Jim did not cast because he is too good. (I am an Office die-hard, fucking love Jim). Kirby is way too good for this film though, she is similar to Pugh as she is a rising talent, who is talented. The Storm casting is just why. Pascal is so typecast at this point but he is so overrated, the guy has two modes; jovial quips and slightly serious.

Deadpool at least looks promising but I am prepared for disappointment.

They will call it the Age of Doom or some shit to maximize interest for the dummies of the world. I still can't believe they are doing battle world because it is going to be awful, it does not translate well to film as they think.

It's more insane that it came #2 and the #1 movie was a Bob Marley documentary that barely got any advertising. This is not an example of the economy being bad but the public have vehemently said "We do not want this. Stop making shit like this."

The last time a documentary did well was when you're dealing with the likes of Michael Moore propaganda like Sicko and Fahrenheit 9/11. Or, an Inconvenient Truth.

The fact that it lost to a non-political documentary that didn't even receive a big marketing push just slams the nail in the coffin of not just capeshit but the movie market in general. I think we might be seeing the end of 200+ million blockbusters at least for a very long time.

With apparently the focus of future arcs focusing on Dr Doom (tho thats speculation atm I think) instead of Kang, it really makes all this stuff surrounding him feel absolutely pointless.

Amazing, Marvel, bravo. So not only you produced some of the lamest capeshit content in years with Phase 4 and 5 but now it truly isnt building up towards anything anymore. It was already all very disconnected and all over the place but now we got official confirmation these phases truly are goddamn pointless.

And the thing is, the multiverse was given focus because it tied back to Kang and the council of Kangz and shiet so now we got the multiverse just for the sake of it because Dr Doom never was very involved with that, he is usually more focused on just taking over the world or just having faggots just leave his Latveria alone (most of the times the country IS shown to be prosperous under his rule when it was a shithole before him).

You cant live on shills (and Deadpool) forever, Disney.

Because protecting a future male hero who's destined to do amazing things and save countless innocents isnt good enough of a plot in comparison to three random chicks who are bound to accomplish nothing. Sure, its very Terminator esque but I doubt we would mind if its good.

The craziest thing is that Kang is supposedly too important to recast, but the nigga was only in ONE fucking film. We have two different Mr. Fantastics now and three different Spider-Mans but for some reason every fucking Kang had to look the exact fucking same?

If they came out and said that because Majors was too associated with the role, I’d kinda give them some leeway on believing them - dumbass might’ve made the role radioactive to recast just on association, especially with how hard the media was carrying water for Majors as “The Next Biggest Star”

Honestly that this George Floyd looking motherfuckers legal issues were more entertaining than the movies says a lot about the current state of the MCU…
