Hey. Don't look at me, I wouldn't even pirate most of the latest shit to come out of the MCU, much less pay in any way to actually see it.

Ding fucking ding. Stop hate watching and hate consuming. Or if you must get your dick stiff with rage, pirate it instead of watching it on the streaming platform. Dead metrics kill this shit, not metrics fueled by spite.
Unlike with gaming, the majority of consumers of TV dreck are normies who will watch it anyways just because it's new and recognizable. There is nothing really we can do as simply making it a political issue nearly guarantees a large count of viewers.

Are people watching it? Streaming services are infamous for not releasing their viewership ratings.

Think even normies are done, they tried putting Ms. Marvel on regular tv and it had lower ratings then even when it was on Disney Plus. Being beaten by reruns of Shark Tank for fucks sake.

So has Disney lost enough money that they can't even pay RDJ to come back and save cape shit?
Have you seen him lately? They're better off just CGI-ing him in rather than having him come back.

Besides, there's been absolutely zero indication that they're even remotely interested in making anything that actually appeals to audiences.

Knowing RDJ's History and the Rat's reputation, I wouldn't be surprised to see a headline like "Disney throw Cocaine at RDJ for more Marvel movies" or something equally retarded.

I'll keep saying it - Disney could've made money for years if they ended the franchise at Endgame (where more or less every plot thread was wrapped up), then sold the "Infinity Saga" as some Collectors Box Set whenever it looked like they were going to have a rough quarter. People would eat that shit up. Instead, we're where we are now with Disney trying to get blood from an increasingly dry stone, and even Normies slowly starting to check ou after over a decade of Superhero Movie Dominance.

They should have scaled back, go back to heroes that actually beat criminals locally and not have literally every film have the heroes save the multiverse. Also purge the continuity of the other heroes and keep as few as possible so the new generation will have an entry point to the series. Instead modern MCU is a labyrinth of decades old continuity, like the comics.

I think it’s the issue of scale. They keep trying to up the ante when it’s kinda pointless to do so.

The best thing would be everyone in Universe be trying to move on or unironically working their day job. You can’t mobilize the Avengers again because half of them are dead, retired from injury, or dealing with their own issues or disagree with how the current problem is being dealt with.

Secret Invasion could have been good if it’s a faction of Skrulls trying to use the remaining Avengers as their enforcers or some shit and Nick Fury is trying to silently stop this.
You could have a threat building, but most people and the threat itself wanna rebuild.

♫ To stop this capeshit 1 2 3 ♫
♫ There's a fresh new way that's trouble free ♫
♫ It's got xXx's guarantee ♫
♫ Guarantee void on kiwifarms.sneed ♫
♫ Just don't watch, Just don't watch ♫

Not just capeshit but the hodgepodge of IP garbage we see today.

Today I realized I'm at a point where I don't even know what the upcoming Marvel shows/movies are.

I know they announced Blade and two more Avengers films, but are they cancelled or what?

Besides those, I have no idea what's coming out after The Marvels (and I guess Deadpool 3 if you want to count that, I don't cause it started with Fox but whatever)

Blade has been flipflopping with changes in directors, completely redoing the scripts, and a bunch of other behind the scenes shit. Not like drama but things don't seem to be going smoothly. No one knows when it'll come out at this point.

The 2 Avengers movies are still on the way but it's unclear what they'll do, since Dindu The Conqueror's actor got in trouble for allegedly choking a bitch, and the writer for the movies (the guy who wrote Ants 3) is rumored to be out as well.

After The Marvels, I think it's Loki (which somehow still features Bix Nood the Conqueror). And Deadpool is still some time away, mostly because of the strikes, but it does count as MCU since it's gonna be integrated into it via the TVA (the time cops from Loki).

Edit: oh shit I just checked and Loki starts before The Mehrvels. Shows how much attention I too was paying to it.

After that it's What If.
Next year it's Echo, then Deadpool, then Captain DoBetter, then Agatha (which changed names again recently) then Thunderbolts.
If the MCU is not considered DEAD right now, it'll be after next year. Who gives a shit about any of that other than DP3?
