What could possibly have happened to this bitch that she is “jaded” again? We never saw her interact with the other characters for more than a few minutes so I’m not going to believe she’s sad about that. Plus this isn’t the Carol from the comics with years of history as Ms. Marvel, so what in the world would bring her back to that state? Is she jaded that she didn’t get to be blacked by Rhodey like in the comics? lol

Because the script said she is so they can try and once again hype her up as the next big important character and main focus.

Because it worked so well the last time.
 
Who cares why she's jaded, the important thing is that other characters are around to tell her how awesome she is! Feminism!

she got her ass kick by thanos. tony stark got the win over thanos and not her.

but seriously, i don't know how they can make captain marvel a compelling character. people joke about her becoming a villain. but i think that is the only way to make her interesting.
 
Imagine being one of the most powerful beings in all of creation; and then also somehow being jaded and lacking self confidence. How pathetic would that be lol?

Like, I've met dudes that work as factory floor sweepers that can muster enough self confidence to go for shit, but the woman that can headbutt her way through a planet is apparently not capable of giving herself a pep talk? Fuck off.

Mini rant:

Marvel sucks at storytelling in its movies because it never actually connects the dots or builds characters. Like Tony Stark. His first movie he loves his dad and praises him. He's offended that legacy is destroyed. Then second movie, boom! Hates his daddy, massive issues. Also Spider-Man. Tom Holland doesn't have an Uncle Ben. He's spider-man-lite who does stuff because power and....whatever? Then in his first movie he really wants to be a hero, only to then not want to be one in his second? And before you say Infinity war, forgetting that that isn't a fucking spider-man movie, he fades into Thanos dust or whatever and magically reappears for fifteen minutes five years later! Then in his third one they hamfistedly try to crib the prior to Spider-men who they took the time to actually flesh out. the problem is you shouldn't be able to shortcircuit it like that. It's cheap. Marvel relies on a level of buy in that no one would accept.

I believe it was said for Velma that a big reason it is getting a season 2 is because companies split the first season in half to try to rewrite contracts or some other loophole to get out of paying.

Season 2 is likely season 1 part 2/2. I wouldn’t think much of it.
