I still contend that they just should’ve just irked Gina Carano and painted her green like Lou Ferrigno and only cgi’d action scenes.
Same, but considering the way Disney treated her, I don't think she herself will want to go back. Her latest venture is a Ben Shapiro production:

Hopefully she doesn't go the John Boyega route of begging her roles back. She got much worse treatment than Boyega.

I just realised we may have another case of Alex Braun being based.

I saw Moonknight, Morbius and Dr. Strange. Those were the onesI was most interested in and they were all lame. I'm out for the rest. Maybe Guardians 3, but I don't want to give money to that pedo Gunn.

I think it's safe to say there is no superhero bubble about to burst and the MCU will never collapse no matter how bad the product gets. There will always be an endless supply of adult children to consoom that shit, and if a movie fails to make a billion dollars they'll just lie and say it did and the ESG money will keep flowing in and by 2030 Marvel product will be pumped directly into our sleeping pods so we can consoom during our state-mandated recovery periods before heading back to the factory to harvest sweet sweet adrenachrome for our billionaire overlords.

Kinda what happens when you're churning out shit all the damn time for a decade & make it a homework of sorts.
The problem is that these movies went from being actual movies under Paramount to being marketing vehicles for the next film. Not only is it impossible to keep track of, there's no stakes to anything (it was already like this starting with Age of Ultron) and no character is ever gonna stay dead besides Iron Man, and even then they'll probably get Tom Cruise or some other random actor to play an alternate universe version of him. Even my wife, who used to drag me to every MCU movie gave up after Civil War. In a franchise where any character can come back at any time, where theres no stakes to anything, who really gives a shit?

I was complaining about having to do homework for Dr. Strange 2 but Marvel was doing that from the beginning. It's been a while since I've seen it but I'm fairly sure SHIELD and Fury just show up in Iron Man 2 without any introduction and backstory, and if you hadn't stayed for the end credits of Iron-Man you would probably be thinking you missed a movie.

You had the brief scenes with Agent Colson and the running gag of SHIELD's full name being too long in the first Iron Man.

But yeah if you didn't see the post-credit scene with Nick Fury, you would be totally confused when he appears in the sequel.

Yeah, not sure why I threw SHIELD in there.

Speaking of IM2, Don Cheadle is old enough to be Terrance Howard's dad, and the switch really alters the relationship between Rhodes and Stark. Before they felt like bros now they feel like work colleagues who occasionally have a beer together after successfully closing out a big account down at the office. And Mark Ruffalo is easily the worst person to ever play Banner, but that's just an aside.

Well. If Tom Cruise becomes Iron man, they’ll have more gay representation. Because Tom Cruise loves cock like MooMoo hates showers.

Im pretty sure that it was rumored that he was supposed to be in Doctor Strange 2 as an alternate version of Iron Man, but it never actually panned out. People made a shit ton of fanart too.

If John Krasinski playing Reed Richard's is an indication of anything, its that Disney will take fancasts seriously when it comes to alternate universe versions of characters.

I still contend that they just should’ve just hired Gina Carano and painted her green like Lou Ferrigno and only cgi’d action scenes.
Same. The one we have just looks worse than Ruffalo's Hulk. It just makes more sense that way. But, they axed her and now she's working with The Daily Wire and whatever else she can get. Probably better than with Disney at this point and hopefully DW can go beyond the surface level stuff. But that's just me being hopeful.

I still cannot get over that Disney would axe a literal strong female woman who, while she may not have the best acting chops, has screen presence. It just still baffles me over a year later.

Because wrong politics, so blacklisted. Incredibly stupid, but incredibly Hollywood.

Not making Shulkie an ugly buff woman was probably the best decision in the long run. I would describe Byrne's version of Shulk as "toned." But ideally she should just be a big green woman.
Yes, but you can still be criticized when a bodybuilding hobby-cosplayer does a better job with a wig, & actual comic accurate suit, body paint & probably some photoshop.

Hell, even a color edit of a normal pic of her's does a better job than the show does.

Her name is Kiki Vhyce, & this is not her only cosplay. Also, she wants to play Big Barda once in a role.

What's worse is, they could've just pulled it off by pulling a classic Lou Ferrigno Hulk. They are already on record diverting from the comics anyway, just make it so her face changes too when she turns Shulkie, it's not like IRL mutations don't do that. And if they're still so adamant, then just fucking deepfake it, they did it in Civil War & Disney also owns Star Wars, plus there's something about buying Stan Lee's existence to probably deepfake cameos in the future, they might as well do it here, it'll probably be less costly too.

In their defense, allegedly Pascal and Favreau made numerous defensive moves on her before her "DAE think calling us Based people retards is kinda like the Holocaust?" gem. You can get away with a lot more in Hollywood than people think, but once you start dancing around (((them))) you're too much of a liability.

Plus like you said, she wasn't a tremendous actress to begin with (I say that as a fan). They could pluck any WWE ladies wrestler out of the roster and effectively replace Gina should the need arrive. Most of them will likely have just as much stage presence as her, if not more.
