I bought some jeans in tk maxx at Christmas and they’re a really good fit for my shape. They’re ’curve appeal’ high waist skinny jeans (ironic as I have no curves..) and they don’t seem to be a brand I can find in Europe.
Does anyone know if these are an American brand, and if so where sells them? Or any similar fit brands? I’m so over the current trend for ride fit everything and these jeans are perfection
I've heard of them, I think they're one of those "generic" wholesale brands that you can only find at discount stores like TJ Maxx, Ross, etc. and aren't really carried anywhere in particular.
I don't know if they fall under the category but "curvy fit" is a type of pant fit that is made with more room in the hips and thighs specifically. Makes skinny jeans a lot more forgiving.

I just have to say:

This is the best smelling lotion. The vanilla, almonds, and sugar combination makes it smell delicious.

I guess that makes sense. They’re not fancy ones at all, they’re just a really flattering cut, a lot of skinny jeans make my hips look really narrow and these don’t. I guess I’ll just keep scouring TK maxx whenever I’m there then! Thanks :)

I see them in a store called Marshalls all the time. And they're usually only 20 dollars or near there.

I've seen that brand at Nordstrom Rack, which is one of those TK/TJ Maxx-adjacent stores so @Carnavoyeur is probably right.

eta: @General Patton confirms.

I love the idea of makeup, but I hate the reality. it smears, if I choose the wrong brand it burns, and it's pricey.

Rock on those Kiwis here who can wear it with ease . My hat is off to you.
It shouldn't burn, did you check the ingredient list after you had that happen? Sometimes it's an ingredient that causes the burning because your skin is sensitive to that ingredient.

absolutely check the ingredients for anything you’re putting on your skin. a lot of makeup tends to have pretty bad things in it that can easily make you feel uncomfortable or cause irritation.

I also wouldn’t rule out possibly having an allergy. I’m remembering all those times I’ve seen people say “Wait, you mean [insert fruit here] isn’t supposed to make my mouth tingle and burn?”

I found this relic in my makeup bag and all the print on the bottom has long been rubbed off. It's between a brown and gold colour with a shimmer, it's a really bomb eyeshadow, I must be able to find this shade somewhere

I just want to say fuck you to everyone who warned me against buying an epilator throughout my life because they said they're "the worst". I bought one last week and my life is changed. Less painful than waxing. No razor burn. Less stubble than electric shavers. Just set a towel down and do the job while watching TV. I don't even have any redness or swelling which is crazy because I'm pale and my skin turns red at the drop of a hat.

You can pry my epilator from my cold dead hands.

Just don't use it on your privates or armpits (unless you have really tight skin armpits). Don't ask.

My pits are the only thing I haven't tried it on yet because of how horrendous getting them waxed felt. I feel like it might not be as bad since I've got more control with the epilator, but your warning has made me rethink trying because my armpits are definitely not tight.

Nothing quite like having the epilator pull an entire half inch of skin in its teeth and having to figure out just how the fuck you shut it off and pull your flesh out without two free hands.

I'm pretty sure I've raved about epilators here before. 100%. I am also fair & have naturally dark hair and will get terrible razor burn with regular shaving (much less now than in the days before 5-blade moisture-pad razors, but still), and the cost of regular full waxes is not worth it, so I've been on the epi train for legs* for a few years. Won't go back. I find it completely painless and incredibly convenient.

^it's a no for underarms (ow, and that hair grows slow enough that shaving is fine) or anywhere near the "bikini zone" for me. Tried it in my groin once or twice and had purple & red dots and bruising for a week. But for legs - outstanding.

Waxing pits is way better, as painful as it is, because it's mostly all in one go. But I just shave them bc the growth is so slow and I get a really smooth shave. Epilator (for me) needs thicker skin than pits or privates have.

I somehow ended up with over $100 in Macy's gift cards from relatives. I do not shop at Macy's. What is good to get from there? I'm thinking bras? Please help.

Bras, sure. Wacoal (pricey, bigger size range) and Bali (affordable, smaller size range) are decent brands. Underwear--a lot of brands have like buy 3 or 5 for $30 deals usually. Cosmetics or fragrance. Kitchen gadgets. Umm... Levi's. That's about all I can think of to just burn gift cards on.
