I like this little guy from IKEA for hanging bras and swimwear.

Yall I finally got my first decent quality bra that fits my unusual proportions. I got 2 of them. One is hideous yet the most supportive bra I have ever worn, the other is not as hideous but fits almost just as perfectly- enough that I am still ecstatic. How do I take care of them? Ive been compression bra only for years but my best ones finally started disintigrating. I was washing them with my normal clothes and hanging them to dry. But with higher quality and underwire, and the very real chance that I wont find this type of bra for under 100 dollars ever again, how can I make sure the shape holds and they dont loose their structure when washing and drying?
I
also have unusual proportions and can not recommend the brand Freya strongly enough. You can find them on Amazon and ebay, they frequently come from UK but they're extremely pretty, very comfortable (for an underwire) and last damn near forever.

Have you noticed if there is a quality difference from a Freya bra bought on Amazon vs their website/in store/etc? I am terrified of dropping money on something nice if it comes from Amazon because of the counterfits and lower quality which thier things seemingly keep getting downgraded to lol. Im not in the UK but have looked at UK brands before and would love to try some out. Shipping is going to suck unless its via prime, I assume.

Also thanks everyone for the info, I really like that bra cage idea and the cute hanger

Those are so cute and I have to admit I was tempted by the design, both the folding and the octopus.

I ended going with a grid, though, because I trust metal more and it's easier to fit the occasional large item. Something mostly like this:

The fun part is trying to make it balance. (You don't have to; it'll work fine hanging at an angle, but it's nice to make a little game out of your chores.) It's easy if it's all fancy socks, but more challenging to make some Alexander Calder-lite with your microfiber mop head vs. fancy socks and a pair of fuzzy slipper socks.

I love lashes. mascara, falsies all of it. I have blonde lashes and look like a mole without at least mascara. I, in theory, prefer falsies to mascara but in practice use mascara more regularly. I fell in love with the magnetic lashes but found half way through the day they made my eyes tired and sometimes they would shift (?) and I would feel like my eye was being poked.

I bought a Kiss Falscara pack and I have to say, I really like them so far! They're really easy to apply and don't look ridiculous. They come with a bonder, a sealer and a remover. My only complaint (so far) is that they can fall apart when you are taking them off the strip in the box, especially the short ones. They're pretty inexpensive though so I don't care that much.

I normally really dislike the feel of glue on my lashes so these are great in that regard.

Why is it that almost every makeup I like tends to be limited edition? When I was a teenager there was this Maybelline "Spider Lashes" mascara that was PERFECT, then someone in my family trashed the one I had just when it got discontinued, and to this day I can't find something close to it :(

Fun fact I learned by accident: Those cheap wet wipes you can buy with aloe? Fantastic for cleaning up cuts and scrapes quickly when you're bleeding a lot. Helps you find where the actual cut is very quickly.

Two things:

1. Anyone have recommendations for pregnancy-safe sheet masks? I've been using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost masks (since those seem to be the go-to ones that are deemed preggo-safe), but they drive me a little crazy because the mask comes in pieces and it's just a pain to get it all out of the package. Not my favorite.

2. I keep reading editorials, social media posts, and videos about how eyeshadow is "dying," and that it's becoming an "old lady thing" to wear eyeshadow. I find it interesting. Anyone have their own thoughts on this?

I'm inclined to agree. "Natural" has been the trend for a while now, ever since the stay-at-home mandates, so the emphasis is more on concealer, foundation, and lip glosses. I'm pretty sure most people are still doing a little bit of eyeshadow, mostly subtle natural colours or shimmers, and while eyeshadow palettes are still fun, I'm happy to get behind this trend. I'll put some on if I'm going out for the evening, but just for the day I've been doing bare lids (well, sort of, I've got lash enhancement, but eyeliner is still pretty standard).

Yeah, at first when I heard about this trending sentiment towards eyeshadow, I said "really? Huh." But, honestly, when I think about it, I only wear eyeshadow for when I'm going "out out," like to a dinner with friends, on a date with my husband, or for a Holiday gathering/special occasion or something. If I'm just running errands, or doing something social that's more casual and outdoors during the day, I just go with mascara, concealer, a sheer cream blush (when I remember to use it haha), and something on my lips.

And whenever I do wear eyeshadow, I avoid colors. I'm a stereotypical "neutrals" gal-- always have been.

Wait really? Over here everyone is stuck with the e-girl look so you can still see a lot of girls with the ULTRA CHUNKY winged liner, ULTRA CHUNKY false lashes, ULTRA CHUNKY drunkard blush, ULTRA CHUNKY foundation and powders, ULTRA CHUNKY lipstick, and ULTRA CHUNKY clown eyeshadows all over their faces.

Me? I have eyes that go well with heavy makeup so I like playing with eyeshadows to see what looks better, but don't really bother with the rest of the face aside from something anti-redness + sunscreen. At best, I put some sheer gloss or something really close to my natural lip color lol

Right now among Gen Z-ers, the trend is called "clean girl makeup." Or, what many people have called the "no makeup" makeup look in the past. Honestly, the "clean girl" makeup is probably going to age well ... Zoomers aren't going to cringe about the makeup they wore in their mid-late 20s like Millennials collectively are over the makeup they wore in 2016 (what a horrific time for makeup). Haha. You can't cringe at your makeup if you don't wear that much in the first place.

And, because of online "influencers" and whatnot, Gen Alpha is far more into skincare than they are with makeup. Obviously, everyone is sharing the sentiment that you don't need a skincare routine under the age of 13, but it is what it is right now. Gen Alpha loves skincare right now and couldn't care less about sneaking into their mom's vanity to play with makeup. Skincare shilling is where the current money is at for "beauty influencers" right now ... Not so much makeup anymore.

With Gen Z entering the work force and having to start paying their own bills, there has been an ever-increasing "anti-consumption" sentiment, which is a stark contrast to what we saw from the OG beauty bloggers and beauty gurus about 10-15 years ago. I think their goals are to "only buy the makeup you need," and right now, eyeshadow is on the chopping block.

There's even been a trend of Zoomers posting videos of themselves throwing out their hoard of makeup products, especially their eyeshadow palettes because they claim to never use them (which I guess is especially true when you consider covid and lockdowns). Personally, I think it's dumb to throw out all of your eyeshadow because trends come, go, and inevitably come back like a boomerang, so these same people will need to buy eyeshadow palettes all over again once they are back in style ... But I digress. Haha.

From what I have seen online, e-girls and people in the alphabet community are the only ones who wear heavy makeup anymore. My guess is that there's a pushback from younger women sharing the sentiment that heavy makeup makes you look like a dang cartoon character or a clown, and that they aim to look pretty and feminine. This Summer, lots of Zoomer women are actually embracing softness and femininity in how they present themselves. A few months ago, "Sundress Season" was trending, with Zoomers sharing their enthusiasm for dressing feminine and not dressing like slobs everywhere they go.

You know how Mimi from the Drew Carrey Show ruined blue eyeshadow for everyone? Personally, I think that drag queens have taken part in ruining all colorful eyeshadow for women who just like to enjoy looking pretty. Colorful eyeshadow just isn't seen as beautiful anymore among younger people. This is me pointing out a possible elephant in the room-- an elephant that nobody else dares to talk about. lol. Drag Queens are fierce and beautiful ... Until you tell a woman that their makeup reminds them of a drag queen.

Not here, millenials/zillenials/zoomers/alphas still love their face stucco, have incredibly shitty and prematurely aged skin and dress in trash bags. Maybe next year they'll start with the "totes natural dood luv mah skin n being girly" larp, trends tend to arrive with some delay in South America.

Anyone have suggestions for foundation that works really well with the milk hydrogrip primer? I was gifted a full sized bottle of it but it pills with everything I own. Obv I’m assuming the milk products do but I was looking for something more affordable.

I have large breast and i want a bra who can make it look smaller or at least contain them so i can exercise.
I have small boobs, but I know that sport bra can help women with large breast.

Silicone based foundation are the best combination with that type of primer.
