I have been slimming down on triomes in my 5 color deck, i have all the Green/x/x ones and two green surveils

If you are on a budget yeah. 5 color decks basically get to coast on fetches/shocks/triomes/surveil now.

like once you get past path of ancestry, command tower, grand coliseum, city of brass, and mana confluence..you dont even have room for all the super good typed cycles now.

Don't forget Exotic Orchid. One of the single greatest lands ever for 5 color (and seemingly printed in every commander deck now after WOTC realized their mistake and DIDN'T put it in the Ur-Dragon deck)

I used to like that one, but being reliant on your opponents does hurt it.

I've considered forbidden Orchid but i have yet to become degenerate enough to try oath of druids in edh
 
Plaza of Heroes is great for all 3+color decks, I run it in literally all of mine. Comes in untapped, taps for colorless, taps for any color but only if used to cast a legendary spell (your commander), and once you have legendary permanent(s) on the field it taps for any color among legnedaries you control. Plus, it provides protection in a pinch if you really need it. It's a fire card, but I never see anyone talk about it.

Only recently decided to add it to my Dihada legends deck. Which is weird, since when I used to play Arena it was everywhere
