yeah. I think this is basically what they would say when I was growing up. with the whole mean/dish being for good luck for the coming year.

It just reminded me of that. I hadn't thought about it in a while. It's interesting see others here also had the same tradition in their family. It's almost certainly a southern thing.

And yes, it's cabbage not collard greens. I remember because I hated eating the cabbage as a kid.

Happy 5 years, where were you when you heard the news? I first learned about it as it was happening from a few of my customers that day as I was a clerk at the time.
 
Watching the clipped out Sam Hyde gorilla nest eps on MATI, so kino was my favourite eps of last year watched the original eps it like six times cackling like a witch every time.
 
So I'm watching the harland hyde mati clip on my tv. And when it cuts to ads the first ad was for thc gummies, and I was able to press next (cause jeetube on tv can sometimes play ads for over 2 minutes and sometimes you can skip before skipping other ads.) And the final ad I saw was some ai generated "hair fixing" thing with some nigger. And the nigger goes "don't use the yt pipo hair repair, use this one which is made for us black kings." and then i laughed my ass off at the bullshit I just saw and skipped that ad, and still watching the harland hyde clip.

it doesn't feel like 5 years and the original shitshow as just used to perpetuate and accelerate the constant hell loop of the last over a decade now.

I have no clue who the fuck this is but seeing america's glownigger divisions basing their actions upon 7 to 8 year old yoda memes about commiting war crimes in venezuala is a special kind of funny in a fucked up cosmic sort of way.

I also fucking hate how thanks to how the algorithms work and filter shit now when i look up those shitpost vids on youtube all I get is venezuela war crime news. i can find the other shitpost people made but not the venezuala ones anymore.
