Here's for the Synthetic Man segment tomorrow. Synth's Youtube channel is beginning to fail (he's still making bank for the foreseeable future), with his two most recent videos getting 1/3 to 1/4 of his old video performance, so he made a cope Youtube post and pinned comment and did a crashout stream. The first hour and a half or so of this VOD is where he's angry about his low views, although apparently it comes up again later, and yes the stream is titled "Blue Archive (Part 9)"

Here's my analysis of his numbers. "Doomer hour" is the community name for when he complains about his life and gives blackpill talking points during his streams, his "Death Stranding 2 review" was a bait and switch doomer hour. I can send the link to where his brother Debin (Devin / Lord Frogmire) is angry on their podcast about being called a nepo-baby on a discord call that was technically also an obscure livestream if you want.

Synth, I know you're reading this, if your views actually did crater because of the Youtube update to what counts as a view (it was already the case that a viewer needed to watch for a certain amount of time for their view to be counted, we're just talking about minor tweaks at most to the requirements), then your average view duration would have skyrocketed by a huge margin because your watch time would remain the same but suddenly your views were reduced to a quarter.

This will probably have the opposite of the desired effect but here goes: Josh, please don’t get into a feud with Podawful.
Like I said, I like both shows and you complement each other well, often covering the same subjects.

I too noticed you conspicuously avoided saying “Podawful” going back ages, which I thought was a bit, and that you grudgingly admired the setup. I mean, it is stupid, it is a comedy show about bullshit, but it’s entertaining. And tbh I think Jesse likes your show too, and there may be a bit of envy on both sides?

Deliberately not mentioning Podawful is, well, it’s fair enough to point out that it’s a bit petty - everyone already knows about it and either likes it or doesn’t. Some even give money to both of you.

So, like, don’t turn this into a pointless beef please, you’d be better off with an ally than an enemy.
