This is autistic of me, but Synth has played all the mainline MGS games 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, right? How can you play through all of them and still not know you can hold up and shakedown enemies for shit? It's been a core mechanic since MGS2; it's not a new feature... Also, it's conjecture but it's highly likely that even in 2004, a curious player, one pursuing a non-lethal playthrough, would discover this without even without a game guide, as your only non-lethal options during that point in the game are CQC and the tranq pistol & stun grenades. It funnels the player into trying to close the distance during the boss fight (even Synth did this) Also, players who experimented with it on regular enemies might just intuitively try it on The End to test for unique rewards or just get some ammo. Synth just because you're too brainfried to engage with the mechanic doesn't mean it's same for the rest of us

I never used the shakedown mechanic since I never really needed resources. Game does a good job of providing you enough weapons and food that you will always have something to use, and if not there is ways to farm resources.
 
When I was playing MGS2's VR missions (before playing the campaign) I decided I wouldn't use hold-ups because they're overpowered, but I doubt I would have realized they were even in the game if I hadn't done the VR missions since it requires you to pull your gun on an enemy. I really doubt anyone would actually use hold-ups to get resources, there is an abundance of resources in MGS3 and even if you run out of ammo for one of your guns you can just use another one.
 
Watching the crashout stream, he showed his 24 hour metrics for the past 10 videos, confirmed my theory. People literally just chose to stop watching because of the bait and switch doomer hour Death Stranding video, 24 hour metrics halved because of that.

Synth, I know you're reading this, if your views actually did crater because of the Youtube update to what counts as a view (it was already the case that a viewer needed to watch for a certain amount of time for their view to be counted, we're just talking about minor tweaks at most to the requirements), then your average view duration would have skyrocketed by a huge margin because your watch time would remain the same but suddenly your views were reduced to a quarter.
 
So he successfully filtered a large part of his audience with the Death Stranding 2 video? Then why is he so upset about having less viewers? I thought he wanted to filter his audience as much as possible, well that's what you get Futa Man; less viewers. I myself am one of those viewers who stopped watching after that video (and his next day response/mini crash out about the comments/advice people posted in its comments).

The sad thing is he doesn't have any real friends, so those "words on a screen" of his are really the only "friends" he's got. Also the Kirsche saga proved that he is a massive hypocrite (and retard).

It was previously said here that he has exactly the kind of fans he deserves. I will go even further and say that his fans have exactly the kind of "leader" they deserve.

The only real life person that you could consider a friend to Coby is Thomas and Coby himself discounts that friendship by insisting that he's Debin's friend first and foremost (which is sort of true, but not really a reason you should downplay a relationship). Thomas also is considerably more normal than the Mold Brothers with how tried to get Synth to stop talking about loli and futa. He also appears to be pretty focused on his career in wine, having that whole Chile arc earlier this year. There's a sense he could potentially outgrow the Mold Brothers.

Synth's only other friends we've seen were his high school buddies David and Carlos who appear in his first podcast attempt, but he says he broke the friendship up over differing politics, a prime example of his tendency to self-sabotage his relationships. Have a clip from the first ever Doomer Hour of him recounting this that I posted earlier in the thread.

And from the Discord DM history leak, his options for messaging are either the mysterious Lea, Undying Rasputin/Julia Turk probably trauma dumping or Egad giving e-fellatio. The others in that list may be better, but we don't know for sure. But Discord DMs are not a replacement for hanging out IRL and actually doing something like having a meal together, seeing a movie or going to a concert.
