If it makes things any mor clear This weird shit also somehow lined up a few months after they got bit by the "TRUMP IS GONNA KILL ALL MINORITIES" bug despite for years making fun of the people that said that. They aren't like elderly people with fucking dementia I don't know if it's a combo of trying to keep up appearances to climb social ladders or what but jesus fuck it was horrible to witness people start responding to a thing they already told ME about as something they never knew about. Not just those guys, it's a LOT of people in my life that have gotten involved with parroting shit from some political narrative. Some even did that shit with DSP too, though I knew about him long before bossmanjack.

When people do a weird 180 like that my first assumption is they have a crush or are dating someone who would absolutely not be okay with their past behavior or interests and so are pretending ignorance. I'm sure I'm off base but I've turned out correct before.

I've seen instances of that but unless everyone I knows dating each other I don't think it's that kind of thing.
 
When was Shondo’s first appearance on MATI? I remember when was super pissed founding out about her. That was also the final straw for that comment faggot Ogusdrin or whatever his name is.

The OSRS tranny that was making sexual assault claims last year is backtracking. Most likely due to a pending defamation lawsuit.
 

Mozilla has gotten their "privacy preserving attribution" made accepted as a web standard. With the help of meta (that's how you know they really do want to preserve your privacy).

For anyone that doesn't know. It's Mozillas new proposed method of collecting data on people without using the older method of cookies. Makes sense if they're pushing it still and making progress in getting it adopted. That they removed their promises not to collect data. From what I understand this would potentially be worse for privacy than even how it used to be.

I’ve been hearing about DSP for years, and all I can tell you about him is that his section of the forum is full of the worst irritants possible. Plus his name is Phil maybe? That’s it. My ears literally turn off when there’s a MATI segment about him.

One is how much money a dev like Ubisoft can spend on a game and come out with mediocre garbage that doesn't even look all that amazing. Especially when you compare their budget to indie devs who seem to come up with similar visuals and much better content for a fraction of the price. It really makes me wonder if major devs are just stealing money from the company by paying fake 3d artists or something.

The other one is how sticky game prices are. Theyve been in the $50-60 range since the 90s and that was waaaay more money back then.

Also, who the fuck wants a switch 2 anyway? The switch 1 had like 10 games that couldn't be better experienced on PC.

There was an interview with the lead dev on POE2 where he stated it is mostly an American problem when it comes to the ballooning costs. He attributes this to the places outside California having lower salaries and just being an efficient company whereas a place like Ubisoft is not. Included is a video of where all of the money from these companies is going (it is not towards game development).

 
 
If for whatever reason null, you feel you cant get around to actually playing Kiwi doom 2, a review for it was made which pretty comprehensively goes over the whole mod in case you want a better idea of its contents.

Ending message is also pretty wholesome, I'd encourage you at least to see the very last 5 minutes since its kinda sweet. I also think you'd enjoy the final boss. Spoilers below, fucking duh.
