Donald Trump just promised at the bitcoin conference to eliminate operation chokepoint and stop the government from preventing banking by people who aren’t violating the law. Not sure if that will help the Kiwifarms, but it will stop the credit card processors from using bs to prevent legitimate commerce and they’ll at least have to admit it’s because they don’t like us.

While my source is Indian, I did watch the speech myself and I did hear him say he’s going to get rid of barriers to transactions including operation chokepoint 2.0 so you know I’m not just saying shit to mess with you. I wish Donald Trump didn’t meander and actually organized his speeches so I can find the part I’m looking for instead of having to watch it all again. I tried for like a half hour and couldn’t find it. Edit: I found it! At 7:50.

I feel like child characters dying in violent ways isn't a fundamentally bad thing. I think horror movies/series/books that do that add a level of realism to their stories, as a villain/force/whatever that is evil enough to not hesitate to harm children adds to the scare factor. The scat and child nudity shit is gross as fuck if both of them are in a sexual context.

The only thing I can speak to on this is the death and gore, and I am pretty certain that it's meant to appeal to coomers. There's a type of porn called "ero guro" that centers around mutilation, gore, and death (and apparently also urine and feces) that isn't portrayed as sexual, but is so explicit and over the top that some degenerates, for whatever reason, get off on it. I get the vibe from Made in Abyss that it's meant to cater to the guro crowd.

I feel like it could be either way. Guro fans love to take random horror anime shit and use it as masturbation material (see what happens when I search Junji Ito on the r/guro subreddit, kinda NSFW warning) so it could just be used as regular old gore that some 'people' use to jerk off.

Because Japanese people are fucked up when it comes to anything sexual. They're weird about sex in the same way that Americans are weird about violence in that when we see people get shot, burned, bludgeoned or whatever, we hardly bat an eye to it. Japan has all of this rapey anime broadcasted, but Mortal Kombat hasn't been allowed there for decades because it was deemed too violent. When South Park first aired, the local controversies surrounding it were focused on the foul language, toilet humor, mocking religions and sexual content....but no one seemed to care much about Kenny getting murdered every episode. "Oh my God, they killed Kenny!" was a catchphrase for a while and the kids that watched it thought that was the most hilarious thing ever. If I was from another country and saw just how cool US entertainment is with violence, I'd think that America was full of a bunch of violent, murderous psychopaths.
Well.....ehhhhhh I mean yeah we kinda are, BUT NOT ALL THE TIME!
