Null had a section about wanting Shad's associates cancelled and "going to the dark side."
And I don't think it's hypocritical. Or at least not in a way that's very important. He is just expecting the system to abide by its own standards, in a morally straightforward way. He isn't being deceitful, or even trying to directly gain from it. While the problem of hypocrisy is one where morality becomes confused. So allowing people to avoid groveling is the real crime.
I also think it's fine to be bad in the interest of something with far-flung stakes and implications. All moral philosophies, great men of history, and even just our moral intuition as humans know there's a difference between petty bad acts and someone taking the burden on themselves for the sake of something greater. I doubt Null has any issues being 'accountable' to any of the consequences of cancelling Shad associates.
