Some fun news that Null might enjoy for tomorrow's MATI.
Google has acquired Wiz.
Wiz is an Israeli cybersecurity company. Their business model is analyzing cloud infra for risk factors and securing it getting their VC to allegedly bribe others to buy their software.
This is probably a combination of stupidity and underhandedness from Google, by acquiring Wiz they can get Wiz's expertise on how AWS, Azure etc (basically any GCP competitor) have set up their cloud infra, their weaknesses etc, but also those companies will simply cease doing business with Google Wiz (G-Wiz, or even Gizz, if you will) going forward, making this a most perplexing acquisition.

Oh yeah, also Google paid so much money for it ($32 billion dollaridoos) that Israel explicitly asked to collect taxes from the sale in USD rather than shekels because collecting that many shekels at once would risk strengthening the shekel so much that it would hurt Israel's exports. I couldn't come up with that shit myself.
