That's because they run the ships with the minimal amount of crew doing the maximum amount of work. It's freaking brutal and you're stuck doing it day after day for months during a deployment and you can't get away from anyone.

On the other hand, women's restrooms, sports, etc., are explicitly made to cater to women. A woman in the military also isn't a physical threat to male soldiers the same way a tranny in a women's restroom is to women. You can argue about how it's disruptive to culture and camaraderie though, I don't know enough to feel too strongly about it either way.

I think a lot of idiots in the navy join hoping to not be on a boat, but then discover that getting on the boat is mandatory and that it sucks really bad. Science people getting on the boat and then the boat goes underwater and stays underwater for days and you're not allowed out of this metal coffin to even see the sun is devastatingly harsh to most people. NEETs might make good sub crew ironically, if you could train them and give them internet access off shift.

I spent a few summers in a booth at a flea market that was long and cramped like a sub, truly difficult workspace when people are assholes.

I knew a guy in his 60's that has super fucked up hearing from years on the sub because they pop your ears apparently. Also the added psychic damage of knowing that being on a failing submarine is one of the worst deaths, like, ever.

For some reason this reminded me I've had and still kinda have a weird amount of female acquaintances that are basically gunsperg hobbyist and/or shitposter gamer women (as in NOT trannies). I may or may not have said this before, but I really feel a lot of people that make several hour long preachy politics seminars and shit online and only focus on politics team shit that aren't just an evolution of the kids that used to abuse zero tolerance policies in schools are people that just are detatched from the hman experience due to their poitics shit bubble. I'm tired and my eye is burning after getting spritzed with 91% alcohol while cleaning my keyboard so the words might be a little jumbled here. The video someone sent a video of some other guy reacting to where the guy's waxing poetic about how deep and meaningful it is to pick a girl in an rpg game cause you like how the character looked and twisting it into some gender lecture shit is one of many examples of this kind of thing I've noticed going on.
