That guy that posted CSAM on his DeviantArt made Chibi sympathetic. He made Chibi, a guy that appears to have some lolicon tendencies, sympathetic. DeviantArt has always been a degenerate cesspool of fetish porn for over two decades at this point and I'm not sure moderation even exists anymore because the site is barely functional at the present time (even Furaffinity is more of a working website) so I wouldn't be shocked if someone's had actual CP photos in a DA gallery for years and hasn't been taken down yet.

Deviant Art is incompetent, but this would be beyond fucked if DA allowed actual CSAM on their servers for potentially years and years. Given the circumstances, notably that the Sharty is rife with CSAM, so much that Josh basically advises people not to go there, im willing to believe it was placed there.

The review goes over pretty much everything you needed to know about the show (which was whatever you thought it was about), though he did indeed gloss over the therapist having the hots for Catboy but I've noticed some other written reviews mention the shotacon tag, so it's likely the fans have always known about it. Now he's wrong about it not getting an English localization, the anime was released by Media Blasters and even had a dub. How else did that one babysitter show that one reviewer the anime back in the day?

Also I think this is actually a gay man (who wants to be a genderspecial but whatever), so this is just another case of the ouroboros eating itself again. He even showcased certain comments that made him go "Yoooooooo", so good on him for calling fujoshi out on their BS.

And here's the manga review. The anime was just that bad and character motivations are actually explained, but he didn't finish the story because it couldn't keep his attention.

Still, though, dude has a point that using Karen (and even Fukaziroh after looking up the wiki) as an example doesn't entirely work since she is an adult, and I believe they still give the same age of 19 even as avatars. Despite how they look, small women do exist and look like that, guys, and it's not all uncommon for this look to be used for adult female characters. For example, Aoba Suzukaze from New Game! and Futaba Igarashi from My Sempai is Annoying are adult women working in corporate who are so small they get mistaken for middle-schoolers. The marketing features the avatars heavily, of course, but that was always the main appeal. Now real talk, Sword Art Online is notorious for being fanservicey to begin with, so whose idea was it for the avatar designs for Gun Gale? Was it totally the original creator's idea, or someone else with a history of working on moé shows?
