Not gonna lie, that sounds like a shitposty name for a shitposty general chat + general VC.
Note there's also a audio line. That makes sense for a general. The name just is retarded. As well as the mention of dog pictures the guy found

they already had a general, and when i mean it had dog pictures in it it only had dog pictures in it-there was no text whatsoever
the server was also quite dead, but there were members with similar anime shit and they knew the guy was into loli

Loli vtuber is sad over Twitch's policy change. Compared their body to a loli. (Person also draws loli porn so beware when browsing)

Defender spends an hour quote tweeting to defend them.

Reminds me of a certain other indie vtuber from a few years ago who stirred up a whole controversy about her pre-debut for having a "loli succubus" design, adamantly defended it for up to a year even post debut, swore she would never change it and justified it by claiming she was sexually abused as a child, toyed with a more "adult" design for a bit, and then ended up going on hiatus for a year or two, redebuting with a proper adult design instead.

These people don't seem to last very long without rebranding.

I think one thing that's stumped me about the whole loli debate is the kinds of artstyles Anime usually has. Just like with cartooons, Anime tends to show characters in varying degrees of realism/deformation. If a show features girls in a more deformed/cartoony/chibi style, where they're cuter/smaller, does that automatically mean it was made with pedos in mind? It feels a bit disengenous to think anyone that draws characters with a more deformed style automatically means they want to bang children.

When a piece of media is meant to appeal to pedophiles, it'll have obviously sexual undertones with characters that are obviously children, and won't be treating the subject matter as seriously fucked up. An example I can think of off the top of my head would be in Dragon Maid.

If characters are simply drawn chibi esque, it does not necessarily mean that the piece of media was meant to appeal to pedophiles, though it's possible that it was made with them in mind and that the art style could be a way to get around the whole "but it's a kid you freak!" argument.

It's a huge reason why the original anime never made it stateside.
I mean, InuYasha made it stateside and it had a fair bit of nudity (of underage schoolgirls no less) in it. Hell, officially English-translated volumes of the manga were also sold in store shelves back in the day with zero censorship as well.

This guy already has a dead thread here made by null himself but I thought this post was specially funny

"I don't like the tone of your voice" Is this the best argumentative tactics that an Oxford education can afford you? No surprise that british academia is in the gutter, then

It's a tactic used by over-socialized leftists, presumably because their parents kept correcting them on their "tone" when talking to them.

I also remember that one gender studies professor resorting to it when being interviewed by Matt Walsh for What is a Woman.

On the one hand, censoring art is stupid and shouldn't be done.

On the other hand, Ramna Saotome is canonically 16? It is very odd to focus on them censoring the nipples when Ranma and Akane Tendo get naked in order to skirt regulations. It's a huge reason why the original anime never made it stateside.

Isn't that the same culture war woman who got all teary-eyed and sobby over Capcom localization stuff at the beginning of this year and went on a long tirade in video form which ended with her getting emotional about Onigiri being censored into being "jelly donuts"?

What are you talking about? It's been distributed by Viz Media ever since it was first acquired by Viz. Just because it didn't air on American television doesn't mean it never made it stateside, the DVDs/Blu-Rays and manga are everywhere.

As for the censorship of nipples in anime, this is an actual problem with Netflix-sponsored/funded anime. Bastard!!, for instance, has no nipples to be seen even on the actual adult women because Netflix (or the people behind the scenes) is apparently offended by them, something that tweet mentioned about how Western women are always going on about the "free the nipple" shit but then don't allow it for adult anime when it's being streamed simultaneously. Japanese broadcasting won't allow nipples front-and-center on non-satellite channels, but the anime are clearly being animated without nipples to begin with since no uncensored versions exist.

And anyway, Ranma ½ was pretty liberal about nudity but it always played it for laughs since it typically happened around the bath and was not meant to be titillating to begin with. The most perverted it ever got was with Happosai stealing panties, not counting a movie about a literal harem of concubines because that was a completely original script. If the remake wanted to skirt around broadcast standards, they should've been a bit more creative with the censor steam and the like instead of just being up-front about the Barbie doll nudity that is always awkward.

Also Ranma is not a shota/loli by any means, so not sure why someone going on about censorship in anime in regards to Ranma ½ is grounds for conversation here.

I mean personally I find the arguments the lady made about the censorship in the new Ranma interesting. A different topic but related. No I don't see that show as a lolicon show. Personally i have no horse in that race, never seen the original or remake. But the censorship arguments are similar all the same. It's interesting seeing a mirror that is essentially the opposite, a case study if you will.
