It helps when the posting rules are so rigid. It's not even a matter of integrating, as much as just learning what you can and can't say and then you're golden. Literally just read some typical posts and post the same way they do, boom you have just fake integrated into a community. As long as you don't drop the façade and say something that blatantly outs you, they have zero reason to believe you're just bullshitting them. Any shitty Internet community that is super insular has the same problem, nobody has enough self awareness to realize how easy it is for outsiders to exist in their supposedly safe space by just pretending.

Utilizing the "duck test" only works when you can see the ways something habitually presents itself, in an ordinary setting. A duck doesn't know to not say quack when examined, the duck doesn't even know that someone is specifically looking for ducks. In an environment where someone can deliberately control the way they appear entirely, and the rules on how to present yourself are obvious, it renders the test moot. They would rather assume their stupid gate works, than accept that it isn't doing it's job.

Still? LMAO. Someone on KF told me that years ago but I rarely even post here about any of the lolcows they follow so it’s strange they care so much. One would think I have a solid gold Queen Bitch crown to be deemed a middle aged gay man, but it just shows they have no experience with actual bitchy gay men…or men in general

Years ago went to the other farms for a week or two, due to one particular cow that didn’t have a thread here, that I wanted to read about. I found the bitter hen party too depressing and boring. They really are the female mirror to the incel right wing, but they hate themselves more than moids.

The one thing I did find interesting was a significant number of lolfarms posters lived in actual misogynistic patriarchal countries, like India and Pakistan, which legitimately surprised and fascinated me. I can easily understand the righteous man hate from that population.

A few nonnies have been murmuring, like they always do after an outage. LC users aren't happy with their usual absent moderators and lack of communication. CC users are very unhappy with theirs as well. Incidentally, CC is back online after being out for close to a week, so clearly there is some moderation somewhere on that site. A few nonnies have been talking about having a board on JC where Cuckmin/Cuckqing/Webmin can be the responsive moderator they've always dreamed about.

Some dedicated autist wrote out her thoughts on a hypothetical JC board in a very large effortpost:

In my opinion, this nonny's plan is way too tight and stringent. It is stifling. And good luck making a whole board that passes the Bechdel test. LC has a hard enough time keeping one /ot/ with that rule. You would need a dedicated Gestapo just for that one rule alone. But maybe with a relaxed version of this nonny's vision, something could happen.

Cuckmin/Cuckqing/Webmin gives a thoughtful response to this plan:

tl;dr for the two posts: Some nonny wants a LC/CC board on JC and the moderator basically says he could make that work with help.

My own personal belief is that LC/CC on JC has absolutely no change of happening while either of those two websites are still up. The sites have their problems, especially CC, but they "just work" and website exoduses are very difficult, especially to such an obscure and questionable space like JC, which is otherwise full of anime porn for moids and is ran by a moid. I see nothing really coming out of this conversation right now, probably not even a splinter site/board.

In the future, if CC goes down, the users will most likely migrate to LC. But if LC goes down, who knows, maybe there will be a permanent refuge for them on JC. But nothing is going to change for the time being.

There are in fact plenty of cross-users because similar subject matter and all that.
But it's Forum vs Imageboard so very different cultures at play, depending entirely on who is running it at any particular point in time too since they go through admins like clothes sometimes.
There's a few other sticking points the most prominent being the no raycism thing they have going on which kinda takes the wind out of pajeet-hate amongst other abnormalities, it's a community in community watch for good reason.

I thibnk that the ones on the lolcow website just hate farmers because we tend to be, as the ladies say, moids, and stinky. By the way is it a red flag if my gf uses the lolcow farms? Asking for a friend.

Like Mound Dweller said, there's a lot of similarities but the two sites are fundamentally different approaches to the same topic.
