I wonder how long it will take for some autist to get a job at the group home Chris goes to just to continue to document him.
There hasn't been one that we know of at the jail. I checked a while back and they were hiring, as are many correctional facilities around the country. In my town for example the jails have signs stuck in the ground all over town advertising $20 an hour, but I wouldn't want to work in a jail for so little.

Working at the group home may require more training and education than the jail. Gateway has several job listings though. Generally they need a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or human services.

The Chesterfield location needs drivers to take patients to and from their appointments. This requires a clean driving record and a one year history of driving around patients from some sort of healthcare facility. It also asks for training in TOVA, a test for attention deficit disorders, but this could be an error on the part of their HR department, because they are willing to train recovery support specialists in TOVA.

Good. I'm not sure about the US, but where I live, working any special needs jobs at that level don't need any formal qualifications. They are all basically government funded and reserved for immigrants, university students and volunteers. More senior positions require at least diplomas, if not degrees but that requirement is generally for the people who run them. I used to do this work when I was in uni so if it is anything like it is here, volunteering and being accepted is just being a matter of passing an interview and having no criminal record.

I think after so much time served,
Chris gets ordered to do a bunch of shit,
and gets a Deferred Entry of Judgment (DEJ) ruling provided he does that shit.
He goes home to live with Barb in violation of the CPO that was applied when he was arrested,
and even though Barb is okay with him living there, it's still illegal.
weens call cops
Chris goes back to jail.

I know this prediction seems super outlandish,
but trust me retards go back to jail for violating their CPO by living with their exgirlfriend or dad or mom or whoever all the time,
and I really don't think Barb would take action against Chris trying to live with her.
Violating your CPO is like the first thing they teach you in retard 101 class when you're majoring in going back to jail.

But I'm not even sure where Barb is living so this is my prediction based on the assumption that she's still back home.

The only protection order I’m aware of expired shortly after the arrest (relatively speaking).

oh ok, if that's the case it must be different in VA then
where I live they slap real long protective orders anytime there is a victim the second anyone is arrested
and those protective orders stay in place even if the accused is found innocent
(but I think you can get them thrown out though)

Chris is being held in jail without bond. There is no need for a protective order because he's locked in a cell in the jail. He could still be prohibited from contact with Barb or entering 14BC if he gets sent somewhere, they just need to make a new restraining order.

ah must be different in VA
here they slap a long term CPO on the suspect on arrest and it stays on regardless of conviction

and yes, that CPO applies even in jail
they love adding charges when morons talk to their girlfriend/wife or family member (or whoever the victim is in a case where suspect and victim are close) on the phone or visit them in the jail

Chris wont have much of a life outside prison. His house will be gone, mom will be dead and all his shit disposed off.
Chris already threw a tantrum after finding out he wont be seeing his toys in his cell, imagine his reaction when his shit is being thrown or auctioned away.
I'm sure a ween has written him by now and sent him the photo of the transformer box next to the trash can, and is probably saying "the bags were full of ALL your toys and Legos and Sonichu comics!"

Who would pay for this, comrade?
The fucking Chinese, dawg!

YES, I FOUND THE THREAD

The digger question here is will he still have an audience? I remember when Chris Chan got arrested a lot of ppl were saying that it would be the "end of christory" but a year later there's still an active community around him and all his letters from jail get their own thread I'm sure ppl will talk about Chris Chan no matter what

I think for Chris Chan he'll either live in looniebins, group homes, or homeless shelters and public housing trying to make drawings and uploading YouTube videos from an iPhone so essentially, he won't be much different from James Robert Clark III
Now, James Robert Clark III needs his own thread here. Abandon all hope, ye who enter that particular rabbit hole.

Someone with experience said they often do, but it’s a shitty connection and probably monitored. I remember someone saying “no wifi.”
It kind of depends
Different group homes do different things
In one group home you might have unrestricted access to the internet and another one you might have restricted access to the internet and in another one there's probably no internet at all

It's one of those things that literally depends on the group home
You guys have to keep in mind a group home is not exactly a jail
It's where we put members of society that can't take care of themselves.
Hell my buddy worked in one night at cable and internet with wifi

It might depend on the patient population. If they're basically catatonic they'll have no need for Internet. If it's people who need help getting employed, they'll need an internet connection to send out applications. There might be situations where the staff have internet access but the wifi password isn't given to the patients.

I think Chris is going to be sent to be placed into a residential care type home for adults with mental illness because I noticed in his court file it said DBHDS sent numerous letters and then information from Gateway Homes was provided so I searched in Google "Gateway Homes West Virginia", low and behold it showed me that Gateway Homes is a housing project for the mentally re/tarded which are licensed by DBHDS.

Here is where I highlighted everything:

Yes but notice how it says striving for independence. That raises a few flags. 🤔

A lot of care homes for re/tards often try to teach independence and even though Chris is autistic and possibly has some undiagnosed mental disorder, he is still able to do certain things by himself like drive himself to the store, go shopping, order fast food, buy gas and what not which social services will see as enough proof to grant him to live independently.

He will most likely will never leave though, some residential care homes like this one in particular make some exceptions for some people who are unable to live alone and judging by Chris's lack of responsibility and concept of money as well as his further deterioration of his mental health, he will probably be kept there throughout the remainder of his life.

interesting.

Then I honestly don't know why the court got letters from DBHDS and why they were sent information about Gateway Homes..... Beats me....

The only thing I can think of is that either Barb denied that her and Chris had sex and the court thinks Chris is crazy or the court decided that Chris is too crazy to be held criminally responsible for his actions.....

Speaking of his shit being auctioned away I wouldn't put it past somebody to get wind of it, buy a bunch of his favorite possessions and then try to hold them over his head to get him to do shit or otherwise manipulate him with promises to get them back or threats of destroying them when he gets out

Seems like the kind of shit some sped would do to fuck with him

All that stuff is long dumped by now.
