They don't ban violent rapists or even murderers. They ban known shoplifters or people who have caused too many problems in the store. The businesses want money, they don't care who it comes from unless it's actively causing them to lose business.
to ask this because it’s possible it could be an issue: what happens to the property if the finance company thinks that foreclosure and rehabilitation of the property would cost more than they could get from it? Because I’m wondering if the bank doesn’t see the hoard of junk at 14 Branchland, the army of stray cats, whatever biological waste is in that house, not to mention the bad press that come from evicting an elderly woman with dementia. What happens to a house if the bank looks at it, gets disgusted and says they don’t want to bother with it?
I tend to look at Chris stuff far deeper than warranted, but this is an interesting thing to consider. As notorious as Chris is online, he's likely developed entirely independent infamy around Ruckersville. If you were a sociologist, it could be interesting to talk to people around Ruckersville and find out if the typical person even knows Chris exists or know him as anything more than the weird guy who comes to their workplace every week or so. In 2022, is it even possible to be a village idiot anymore or has the sense of community deteriorated to the extent that even someone as bizarre as Chris fails to develop an identity as a local character?
Only old people who aren't on the internet. Too many google searches with "ruckersville" in the terms have Chris-related stuff on the first page. If you tell someone online you're from ruckersville, eventually someone will ask you about Chris. Especially if you're younger.
Could he intentionally kill himself? I remember reading and agreeing with a conversation that said his ego is way too big for him to consider self-harm (at least in the traditional sense)
