I saw a comment on one of the yt livestreams and it kind of pissed me off a bit. Probably just me being in a mood all day because reasons, but -

"One could put it all into the right perspective this way: Its only a tiny volcanic event on a tiny planet in a tiny solar system within a tiny galaxy among trillions of galaxies . . . ."

I mean sure, but tell that to the people who are now homeless because of this thing.

In other weird things happening on islands news, Hawaii has a blizzard warning.

Yup. Hawaii. Blizzard.

I can't even.
The blizzard is only happening on the peaks of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, which are both 13,000+ feet up. Snow, even thick snow like what's predicted, is pretty normal when you get up there. What's fucking weird is the super high winds, but it's La Nina this year which means that weather in general is gonna be more shit than average so it's not super weird.

That'd be fine for our current ruling class, they've said from the start they want to build back better, and how can they build back if nothing ever gets destroyed?

But importing niggers will already see to that. Detriot.

The Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME) has detected large-opening cracks in the main cone of the La Palma volcano. This phenomenon is currently being monitored by experts to determine its causes and possible consequences.

The volcanic activity is not being very intense this morning, the strongest earthquake recorded has been a 3.5. If the intensity increases again, I think that cone can be split in a half. :chicken:

A drone from the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME) has filmed the new lava flow gobbling up houses and land:

The large steaming crack could be a few things. The cone is mainly piled up ash and shit. It’s kind of like a sand castle. It may just be cracking under it’s own built up weight. So long as it itsn’t caused by the actual earth underneath the ash cone splitting apart and forming a fault line. Which could be kind of bad.

Evening Bear Report. High brutal wind carrying lots is ash. But sharp declines in sulfur dioxide so hopefully a decline in volcanic activity. He drinks tea.

At this point the mystery I care about is not whether a mega-tsunami will wipe out entire swathes of multiple countries, but whether or not Bushcraft Bear is Jewish. He might be Seventh Day Adventist or one of those “Messianic” (read: fake) Jews (read: not Jews). But I really want to know. Has he ever said?
