"I truly love them!", "I protect them!", etc are super common defenses pedophiles try to use to defend their degeneracy. I'm surprised I didn't immediately catch it myself. That makes me honestly more convinced he's a pedo than I was before.

Either he'd be dead in a day or the inmates wouldn't kill him, instead they'd keep him alive to violate and brutalize.

This assumes of course that he wasn't moved to pc or the specific block they keep s.o. at and the guards weren't doing their job. Which 90% of the time they're on the ball about those things.

Though shit does happen, not saying it would, but shit does happen.

How could we get the procedural history? I've never gone about getting court records - is there a way to get a hold of documents that outline exactly what Eichenwald did, who was involved, amounts of money exchanged, etc?

This is shady as hell. I can only hope that someone with a legal background will take the time to wade through the proceedings to determine what was really going on there.
 
What went on is he could have been charged with several felonies, but ultimately wasn't. He flipped on everyone and the prosecutors decided they didn't want the hassle of charging a prominent journalist. The government has generally declined to prosecute journalists in marginal cases. There might have been some juice applied at a high level, but probably not. Nowadays when the story comes up, he tries to destroy the credibility of the other principals. He has to, because if they're taken seriously, these allegations would destroy his credibility.

Of course, he's done quite a job of that himself.

Wow, he actually admits that the ACA has problems instead of calling Trump and everyone racist Nazis who are trying to healthcare away from starving children.

It more sounds like even the Democrats don't want anything to do with him, so he doesn't feel like playing into their hands and attacking the Republicans anymore. It doesn't get him anything except for attention from Alt-Righters who can recognize and track down the exact hentai comic he has open in his web browser.
