New Jeans lost their court battle with Ador (their record label) because they thought it was a good idea to go on tour under a new band name and drop teasers as "NJZ" while they were still undergoing an active legal case. That, and a shitstorm where '25 will be filled with lawsuits.
If they truly, completely disband after only ten songs (give or take a handful of remixes), I wouldn't be mad. Just let them enjoy their youth. Most of them are still legal minors. You shouldn't be pushed into an industry that starves its talents to the point of having "1 coffee a day and every other day 1 small meal", gives them a small cut of their massive profits, and where you are a puppet on a string of a corporation - your personality on variety shows, what lines you sing, how you act in general is all decided by the record label.
(yes, there is another kpop thread, no, i don't feel like necroposting.)
