The redlettermedia thread sucks. It has nothing but wild and rampant conspiracy theories and speculation on some bullshit that doesn’t even make sense. I also don’t understand the vitriol in that thread, some of the posters seem to genuinely despise RLM for the crime of being normal guys that talk about movies.
 
I actively avoid many community threads, especially those about extremist, fanatical or cult-like groups, because they tend to become hug boxes for the opposite side, not to mention that they turn repetitive and sad after reading a few.

Any thread involving irl abuse or sensitive material is an instant no-go for me. I can tolerate grotesque content in freakshow threads, but I come here to laugh, and that's just heartbreaking.

I'm also not usually interested in politisperg cows, I roll my eyes whenever a thread veers off into slap fights, and I ignore heavy-themed discussion threads because it's tiring to read people arguing heatedly and even losing their temper over things they have no real control over. I mainly come here to read and rarely participate, so it's not my thing.
 
I occasionally read and post in the US politics thread when there’s a happening going on, but I generally avoid A&N (because 99% of news is ragebait) and especially any politically-spergy lolcows.

Those threads end up being less about the person in question and their antics, and more the same group of thread regulars circlejerking and getting MATI about said cow’s political opinions, using them as a sort of real-life straw man to bitch about whoever they disagree with.
 
I used to follow Cyraxx but after MBM bodied him a few years back I've stayed away, Mostly because I got tired of how disturbingly animalistic Wilkins can actually be. Like CWC raped his mother, but I can imagine Cyraxx doing far more depraved stuff than that if he ever had real power over someone.

I don't need those kinds of vibes in my life.
 
my personal one has to be the Fluffy Pony community, both the thread and the community in general. I think the final straw is when I managed to finish reading through this very long story written by a few Fluffy Community members called "The Fall of Cleveland".
Wasn't particularily too bad for the most part, and had some interesting concepts, but when it got bad, it got bad. after I finished it I thought to myself "Why did I sit through this 80+ Chapter clusterfuck of a novel?" and that really told me I was in over my head, so I just stopped
Ontop of that, related to animal abuse, fictional or not. call me faint of heart, or Sad At The Internet if you want but animal related things of this nature just messes with me in a very specific way.
 
I stay away from any animal abuse or animal torture related topics, its sad enough to know that there is an audience for that brand of horror.

Besides that, overly political threads aren't my thing either.
 
The gore thread: As hypocritical it may sounds saying this on KF, since i'm here to enjoy lolcows sperging out online, i don't think getting joy out of human death and suffering is good for you

Political threads that have nothing to do with my country: i just don't wanna give retarded takes of stuff i know little about

Deviantart thread: clicked on it yesterday and regretted it

Religious banter threads and such: i don't enjoy mocking other people's spiritual faith
 
I stay far away from the "watch people die" thread. I don't understand the appeal, it just sounds horrible.
 
There’s a few threads I try to avoid now:

• CWC and the thread about flutter- I just do not care anymore, it’s obvious she’s some kind of reddit ween and I don’t want to see any more.

• Zoey - not now nor ever will I care. I already can’t stand the people who fetishize mentally ill women.

• anything to do with the sektur - I just don’t care.

• mad at the internet - it really is just people kissing up.

• deviantart - I don’t like the idea of making fun of how bad drawings are the same way I hate making fun of people that aren’t great at painting tabletop miniatures.

Personally, my favorite threads here are ones where I can find a way better community than entire dedicated forums. I find more value out of the TTRPGs, Battletech and Pokemon threads than entire forums dedicated to this things.
 
I'd like the AI discussion thread to have more fruitful discussion than the furry artists on twitter wanting to bomb data centers, but the people on there have no understanding of the average offline persons opinions are of AI, or the general trends of AI's capabilities going forward, or the potential dangers of AI. AI should be used in every artform and job and anyone who disagrees is a furry porn addict

I'm late as fuck but I witnessed this in the GTA thread when the first big trailer released, it was chock-full of some of the most obnoxious A&N people coming in to drive-by bitch about niggers in their crime sandbox game. Even though I largely agree with their cultural/political takes, there was little discussion of the trailer outside of "REEEE WHY ARE THERE SO MANY NIGGERS, LOOK AT ALL OF THESE NIGGERS!" and whenever a thread gets featured, it is an unreadable morass of spergery for at least fifteen to twenty pages. I guess it was then that I understood fully why a lot of the site's users look upon A&N people with disdain for shitting up threads with off-topic tangents or turning everything into a rant about DA JOOOOOOZ that would make fucking Heinrich Himmler blush.

For the thread topic itself, I tend to avoid true crime threads in general despite having a keen interest in that subject - because like everywhere else true crime content flourishes, it's jam-packed with wine aunts who get way too fucking emotional about these cases. The Gabby Petito thread and the Sarah Boone thread quickly became a place for said wine aunts to bitch about men and anyone who might be critical of a woman's behavior is an incel with le small PP, about the only good true crime related threads on the site are those dealing with mass shootings [they are usually quite informative - you can get way better up-to-date news from Kiwi Farms than you can anywhere else on this topic, which is a searing indictment on modern "journalism", but I digress] and the Gyspy Rose Blanchard thread. Outside of a few select threads, I tend to avoid the Beauty Parlor because to me it just seems like a place for fat and dysfunctional women to shit on other women who are slightly fatter or a little more dysfunctional than they themselves are, to feel marginally better about themselves. Any troon threads are full of radfems pretending like they didn't open the door to all of this troon shit years ago and always opposed troonery, but really they're just [rightfully] pissed that grown ass men are playing basketball with girls or hanging dong in women's locker rooms. It was "YASS QUEEN" until it started affecting them personally, then all of a sudden it was a big fucking deal. They can be based as fuck on the matter of troons but sooner or later the other dumb ass Tumblresque trappings come out to play.

Non-happening threads that move too fast. If a thread moves at 10+ pages per day, I’m out. It usually means that it’s full of alogs and sticker farming.

I don’t think out troons and pooners should be allowed here, especially without pink triangle. At least two have been banned for pedo/adjacent apologia and it’s like no shit we have multi year threads documenting what they’re like yet they’re still allowed to roam free and given benefit of the doubt on kf of all places? Especially knowing how troons love to “infiltrate” places they aren’t wanted to gloat? I understand some people like having pet retard troons here to observe but eh.
