No, but at least KH 1-2 let you visit the worlds when you beat the base game and fight the bonus bosses whenever. These data fights lock you in and are NOT optional to fight the final boss and get the endings.
Wait so ReMind locks you in the final area and you can't get out of it even on a reload of the the completed game save file?

"Im still salty about versus XIII so im making my own final fantasy with X-BLADES and hearts: the dlc"
Bravo nomura i love you

Basically you take a completed save file from the main game to play base remind and then when you beat remind you need its save data for the data boss fight area, which doesnt give you any enemy's to lvl up on.

I have no idea how it works after you beat it because its super fucking hard even on normal mode.

You can switch between the normal game and Re:Mind at any time by going to the default load screen on the main menu and pressing square on your Re:Mind save data.

Ah, thanks. I completely missed that. On another note, I had to lvl to 99 to fight the data bosses on standard. Got most of them, but xemnas is a slippery bitch.

If your a mega fan I think this DLC is worth it. Has a Fixed ending, hard ass bosses, a difficulty slider, and a model pose mode with a crap ton of toys to play with.

I agree with that. If you go in looking for an actual expansion with playable characters, new worlds or new keyblades you're going to be disappointed. It's firmly Final Mix tweaks territory.

So there's a couple of things happening soon:
  • Dark Road, a mobile game detailing Xehanort's backstory
  • Update to Union Cross. Looks like they're approaching the war
  • Melody of Memory, a rhythm game. Seems like Kairi is trying to find Sora, so it's probably post-3? Sorry, I didn't play 3 yet and I only vaguely know how it ends.
  • The release of 3's soundtrack
  • New figures

Does the new All in One with KH3 have Re:mind on the disc or is it a DLC code?

I thought Union X was post war unless we get a second Keyblade War. On a related note the keyblade graveyard being fucking rad justifies there just being a shit ton of keyblade wielders despite the first game having characters shit themselves over Sora having one.

That fucking rhythm game is the most shameless thing they've ever released. The KH series is no stranger to constantly re-using their assets to the point that it's become a fucking meme, but this shit is the lowest amount of effort I've ever seen from them.

They're not even the good Disney or Kingdom hearts songs, but the fucking filler music.

One of the biggest celebrations I held for KH3 was finally going somewhere besides fucking Agrabah and the Dark Road is probably going to lead me back to it

It's 14 songs but each of them have 10 remixes each.
And it's that talentless fuck Ishimoto doing the remixes, so all the tracks just have electric guitar randomly thrown in and their tempo slightly altered.

Obviously late to the remind discussion, but I found the 2FM data bosses much more of a pain than 3's. Not to the point that I'd complain about the easiness of 3's, but they're easier to brute force in comparison. Same with Yozora, had more trouble with Lingering Will than him.

I’m late, I guess, but oh well. So I was a massive fan of the first game when it came out. and I replaced my by-then broken Playstation 2 just to play the second one because I wanted to see Riku and Sora get home, and I did.

3 felt like it didn’t need to be made, but like I said, fan, so when I finally got a console that could play it, I did... and I’m halfway through, and I’m honestly burning out. I don’t give a shit about any of the new worlds, because they’re all movies that came out long after I stopped watching Disney movies. The constant 4th wall references to 10 years passing feel hokey. And I have no clue who most of these people hanging around with Mickey and Riku are and why I’m supposed to care. There’s no Final Fantasy stuff anywhere. Even the Utada Hikaru song is weak, and I was a fan of hers even before KH.
Is it worth continuing? 1 & 2 just came out on Game Pass and I’m thinking of just replaying them insted.
