Fingers crossed the series is done after this one though.

Not the case -- the shit with Xehanort is apparently a "saga" now, with this game being the last of the saga. Sounds to me like they're planning to m.ilk the shit out of this series in the future.

Went back last autumn and played through all the games on the collections that came out for cheap in my area. In retrospect, the series is eye-rolling and the plot is way too convoluted because all of the non-numbered games in the series are all canon which add context to what's happening in each game, but I'll actually know what's going on which is a plus. At this point, I've got to ride this bitch to the end and finish the job. Fingers crossed the series is done after this one though.
might not want to hear it, but to my knowledge nomura has said that kh3 is 100% not the end of the series, just the end of the "xehanort saga." sorry to disappoint.

Its Square they'll m.ilk this shit until they can't, just look at Final Fantasy. I just hope they get a new protagonist after this one. I don't hate Sora or anything but I feel they need some fresh air injected into the series, and it would clearly mark this as a new saga.

I still never beat Kingdom Hearts 2.

I guess I didn't like the concept too much, and the RPG elements were too complex. I hate trying to figure out what each Elixer and Potion is supposed to do.

But I did like the Battling system itself. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy have never been so badass.

"Give me Power!" has got to be Wayne Allwine Mickey Mouse's best vocalism ever.

I only really played & liked KH I and II... And collected the music from some of the other games, including those 2. Don't have the console to play KH III. Eh, maybe someday, if DLC doesn't get in the way, of course, which you know it will...

Also, how dare you all kick me around for considering the best possible outcome for this sad excuse of a storyline / universe in general. It makes sense for Thanos to reasonably come out on top in all of this.

When I first played this game my favorite character was Roxas, and in one of the trailers it seems that, for some unfathomable reason, Organziation 13 is trying to bring him back? So I'll def be playing for that aspect.

But like after 2, aren't all the organization members dead? Half died in COM and the other half in 2. In Dream Drop, quite a few of them became people again but Larxene and Marluxia are both in the trailers. Man it's going to be convoluted.

The whole fucking ending is already leaked. Same overdramatic pseudo-philosophical dialogue trying to hard, same stupid convoluted plot and some corny and over the top voice acting but the OST is god-like as always. Enjoy

TDLW: Sora defeats Xenahort and talk no justus him. Original Ansem and Original Xenahort (I don't fucking know at this point) were good friends or something and make up before dying or someshit about light. Roxas (or I think it was Ventus? I can't follow this shit!!) , Aqua and Terra, Axel and I think even fucking Xion live. And Sora went to find Kairi to make more games. That's it. He dissapeared Thanos-style at the end but it's probably just a red-hearing: nobody fucking dies on these games.

I think some people are already dissapointed by it. It was worth 13 years for such a resolution for such a stupid and convoluted story, Nomura? I hope you learned your lesson for future and learn how to make a basic narrative structure. Aim for the stars, boy

Are you for fucking real?? I can’t imagine waiting 13 fuckin years for the conclusion of the most autistic game ever made only for it to be leaked days before release.

that is absolutely amazing, 13 years of unnecessary buildup for such an underwhelming ending :lit::lit::lit:

Best thing from that ending?

Nomura should leave the confusing stucture for story telling to Kojima. He at least left answers to most of the mysterium in the world in one game, than making it the new Final Fantasy 13 saga out of it.
But meh, I had a feeling that the ending would not live up to all the series' twists and turns. Still anticipated for it but gotta lowering down my expectations though. I'm sure, they are pulling a Final Fantasy 15 later on and put in a bunch of DLCs for missing things in the plot of KH3 or extras.
The combat is atleast pretty alright and seems more fluid than in the Demo event. Hopefully the game has a solid foundation on the endgame as for the secret boss and the ways to farm the Ultima weapon, etc.

Time travel can bring any character back. Also Roxas was probably the best part of the game's story and his inclusion was pretty surprising.

Took them long enough to use Toy Story. Too late more like it.

Idk when I was younger I didn't mind the game. I actually thought it was pretty fun, but after beating it on proud mode especially when people cried how Sephiroth was so hard. I got completely bored of it. And it felt like it had 2 stories going. Something with Mickey and the world's problems with heartless and then organization story arc. Both were shit . One was way too confusing and the other was way too edgy. Idk it felt like it wanted to transition into some dollar store FF series.
