I give what little I have, a heartfelt poem from me to Josh's memory. I only leave it in this public place because history should remember that he was truly loved and he will be truly missed. If you think it's cringe and gay, that's fine, you're probably right. In green, his favorite color:
A star is blotted out,
And the world is darker for it.
Not once did such a cry
issue from the Earth
That stones wept underfoot,
And sturdy oaken knees
With weakness trembled,
And creatures bowed their heads,
And air in stillness waited,
Knowing no word which to offer.
Worst was man, indicted.
"If he, innocent among us,
cannot be redeemed
by what folly
could I hope for grace?"
Answered only silence.
Where he's gone I cannot follow.
