Is Mafia III considered "woke" because we're a Black man seeking revenge against the Italian Mafia in 1960s racist New Orleans?

It's woke, the devs are on record saying they made it because of their political views.

I must've missed the memo. With that logic, in Saints Row, you're a multicultural individual looking for Blacks, Whites, Asians and women to kill in the gangs.

wokeness is politicial in it's essence because that is what every left leaning marxist idealist gayfaggot go on about with special focus to idpol at the expense of everything else, as long as they get to preach their delusional shit, it's mission complete for them even if that means burning everything down.

Devs admitting the game is woke is somehow them subverting expectations?

You're the cretin that asked if the game is woke, was then given a statement from the devs themselves saying it's a woke game, and you still deny it.

there is no black mob, there are black gangs but blacks cannot by definition be a mafia just like there's no white yakuza or triad.

The original Mafia 1 is great, no pozz and tries very hard to stay authentic to the time period and mob movies.

The important thing to remember when playing it is that it's not a GTA clone - the city is more of a backdrop for the missions than an environment for you to explore. There is a little side content to experience, but 90% of the game is in the main story missions.

Pro tip: remember where the illegal arms dealer is in the city, you'll need him near the end of the game.
