"a 1 dollar store woke dei garbage" this is literally what I expect every remaster/remake will be. There is a track record of this, even if they don't insert woke stuff they remove stuff for the sensitivities of modern audiences, or add a disclaimer at the start of the game, which itself is of course also woke.

They removed the bikini girls from the swimming pool, you can't share a society with lunatics like this.

In all fairness, Nightdive's boomer shooter remasters seem to be pretty faithful. Quake 1, Quake 2, Doom 1+2, Dark Forces, and now Heretic+Hexen all seem to be unchanged. Quake 2 did get mentioned earlier in this thread because one of Machine Games' mappers is gay and put a rainbow in his easter egg vanity signature in one of the new levels, and the new levels (Call of the Machine) seem to not utilize the busty, sex-appeal enemy from the original game, but the original content is left as normal as it was in 1997, moaning cyborg rocket babes and all.

I don't think Nightdive did Duke 3D 20th Anniversary World Tour, but that deserves an honorable mention too. The coccooned babes, prostitutes, geishas and strippers are still just as nude as they were in the original, and you can still hand the latter three folds of bills and proposition them.
 
SCP 5K isn't necessarily woke but you can tell it's devs are going to be based on the steam rules of "no homophobes, no racists, and no nazis"

From what I've gathered from the reviews, the game entered early access 3 years ago in 2022, and only has 2 main story missions and a ton of unfinished co-op and PVP modes as well as the devs expanding on cosmetics and weapon skins even though no one gives a shit about anything but the story mode. It's allegedly supposed to hit release later this year.

Also, The first Story mission with SCP-173 is really good but it goes off a cliff and turns into COD zombies, supposedly. The second is great

Is it still worth spending 15$? I'm in the Halloween spirit even though it's August.

Guess I'll replay the FEAR series, DOOM 3 and some mods for it (Phobos is great), The Amnesia games(aside from rebirth). I picked up Amnesia the bunker for 2$ from a key site and haven't played SOMA since it launched. Some madlad made some mods for Amnesia: The Dark Descent called Penumbra: Necrologue and for SOMA called: Penumbra Prisoner of Fate that continues the Penumbra story. I also haven't touched Lost in Vivo in 5 years. I'll also load up some custom campaigns for L4D2. Is lethal company worth a shit? I still see 4K players on it so it must have some appeal.

yesn't, the people playing lethal company mostly do it for the mods, the rest of the niggercattle moved on to R.E.P.O as their current streamerslop chat game but even then that is losing to that sheep browser game.
i haven't kept much with the FOTM's as i don't have chinktok.
