This is Kelly's future: repeated infections caused by self-harm, followed by cutting bits of her off, followed by more self-harm caused infections.
 
Man, and here I remember her merrily talking about being screened for prosthetics.

That sure as fuck ain't happenin' now! At least that saved the taxpayers a smidge of dough.

I'd be curious to know if she got to the prosthetic stage, didn't keep everything clean and that somehow caused an infection.

Knowing Kelly she probably poured some dirty sand and cat litter into her stump sock and went for a hobble.
 
She’s got more of a compulsion to pick than Juliana has to DoorDash. The only way to keep her safe from herself is to amputate her hands, or put them in a cast for a year to get her compulsion under control. She’s going to pick and pick until she dies of sepsis.

I'm impressed that she had the restraint to not post her rotting stumps up to this point but we hear about the surgery.

I know we shouldn't encourage her insanity because she's definitely reading this thread but I really hope we get photos of the infection and/or the new amputation results.

it's been over a year since the amputations, the thread's been dead, and as soon as registration opens, here's a new account with a wonky-eyed photo of kelly and her cat, allegedly posted by her sister, claiming that kelly (who pulled out her own nerve) is "really nervous", and that gina "would love to share any positive messages anyone has with her" ... ?!

how many socks does a woman with no feet need?

So it sounds like they're taking off the leg right at the hip joint? Just popping the femur bone out of the hip socket and sewing it up?

They'd better hide the end of her femoral artery, or she's going to make a mess once she starts digging in that surgical site.

I'm watching the comments to see what he decides to do. He is a younger physician specializing in wound care, as far as I can tell he's not working directly with any shrinks.

Info I didn't know:

She's had a second graft that didn't take. She's tried to leave AMA (she's intermittently inpatient and out, depending on how much she's fucking with the wounds/her bacterial load). They're very, very aware that she's interfering with wound healing. She's got a 1:1 nurse ratio when she's there. They've repeatedly used a wound vac on two of the holes. They've debrided multiple times but the surrounding skin is compromised and the underlying infection has become compartment syndrome, she's scraped at the bone surface with "a hard implement". She's not currently septic, though she has been.

FYI compartment syndrome is very unpleasant.

She is currently alive. That could change at any time though.

If he posts images/footage I'll bring it.
edit: you don't know how many alerts I've got running for "exposed tibia bilateral self-inflicted" on these sites and apps. You don't want to know.

I work with a couple of guys that have prosthetic legs, both amputated below the knee and both with batshit crazy stories associated with the leg loss. One of the guys developed an infection on his stump a couple months back and the other guy was super worried. I didn’t get it so he gave me a lesson in stump 101.

Leg amputees run a really high risk of repeat amputation so you have to care for your stump religiously. Infections on the stump are extremely high risk because they can move to the bone like lightning and then you’re going to lose more bone/stump length. The longer the stump, the better success with post amputation mobility and prosthetic fit/use - something about the muscles.

Picky pants is going to be wheelchair bound and struggle significantly with learning mobility and being successful with prosthetics. She’s also going to need to be babysat and require constant medical care because her stumps are going to be a goldmine of opportunity for self harm.

Bone infections happen, unfortunately. And definitely happened with Kelly because of course it did.
 
I also don’t believe it. I welcome newfags but posting info nobody else has found as their first post makes me go hmmm.. also, why is that post cropped the way it is? Why not include the rest? We can’t see where it comes from.

That is a picture of Kelly, but my guess is she’s taken to picking her hair out.
