Well I'm willing to admit I was wrong there. How did you guys see that though, and why can't some of us if it's public?
Its like a 3 second afterthought that plays after tapping her pfp, after the 1st longer vid of her cat playing with her toes. I didnt think it was there either lol til I let the cat vid play through. Doesnt seem to be a way to flip through to the kelly update. Idk it's weird but I dont use instagram these days and I wasnt using the app either. Straight up I was thinking everyone was lying til 3 minutes ago. Says 9hrs its been up now.

I wonder if kellys social media break is forced and the small sister update was to placate kelly/xmas gift..kek.

Yeah, she wastes resources better used on other people. That’s true everywhere but this is Canada, not Calcutta. No one is going to die because of Kelly hogged all the medical care.
Reading through the thread right now, and I just can't help but chuckle how badly this aged for Canadians now that they have MAID in place. Her wasting resources nowadays actively promotes the government to kill their ill populace. "Just kill yourself. We'll help!"

So, how long before she goes full mobile infantry vet
I'm going to be an internet munchie and get all the attention I can milk!
Good for you! Being a picking obsessed vampire munchie made me the salamander eyed legless woman I am today

Oh that actually makes sense; I didn't check the videos themselves. Kudos to our more thorough members!
That said I don't think there's anyone in her life that could force a social media lock down; he family hates her (I include Gina in there because most of the time it's true, although she seems to be a very forgiving woman) and her bestfriend/roommate/care taker seems like too much of a pushover.

If I had to guess I'd say she was just getting enough attention IRL coupled with a HUGE influx of hate online all at once (and no doubt off site weens calling the hospitals as well as swarming her social media) she was just lying low. She's taken a few breaks from the online world in the past, so it's not out of character.

Do you think she has phantom donut-hole leg pain once in a while? I wonder how fucking excruciating it was to just exist, let alone walk on those ol’ legs.

Not at all relevant, but does anyone else think it looks like she's wearing a wig?
In reference to this, I wasn't sure if I still had the screenshots or if I would be able to find them. Not super relevant or exciting but it may explain why she's clearly wearing a wig.

The screenshots are stamped as the date and time I took them, as 3rd Sept 2021, from Kelly's insta stories. It was a video that I capped. I can only guess that her hair got so bad she clipped it.
Does it not beg additional questions though? How does it get that bad
How did it knot right at the scalp, even on the top of the head
Why does it look like there are 'sections' that are knotted, as opposed to random chunks?

Tbh, she's nuts, but so nuts she's exhausting. I'm sure her IRL people feel the same... (which is why she now has a wig)

I could be misinterpreting, but I think she was struggling to properly care for her hair, so she put it up in a bun or ponytail on the crown of her head. This is a very common hairstyle for people with longer hair who don't have time to style it or are too lazy to, or to get their hair up out of their face and off their neck quickly.

My best guess for why/how it got so bad is probably just not caring for herself properly. She almost certainly spends most of her time laying down or in a chair, with her head pressed up against something. She clearly isn't washing it or taking it out of that bun to brush it or care for it, so it's knotted and matted in place. If she can't care for it and doesn't want to get help from a caretaker or something for it, it seems like the right option would be to cut it all off.

On another note, if she can't handle something as simple as hair care, I don't even want to think about her hygiene or ability to properly care for her wounds. I wonder if she's refusing additional help from a caretaker or something similar, because that hair would give me pause about how much care she's actually getting. I'll admit I'm not well-versed on disabled adult assistance in Canada though.

Yeah, agree. Didn't/don't want to PL. I have waist length curly hair and mostly have it in a ponytail or bun. I know the knotting issue. Kelly is her own person, and if she didn't want/refused help that's up to her, but if she had people that should have been helping, that's pretty shit that it ended up like this.

Maybe it speaks to her own neglect and sabotage of herself overall. Help was probably available (as she mentioned), who knows what happened from when this was posted until now? I get that she may have not been able (for reasons) to deal with it, maybe she wouldn't let anyone else fix it, or be able to pay for it, or just didn't want to....?

Maybe carers just let it go because it wasn't worth fighting with her over it, and it's only her consequences, and they can't make her.

Or maybe they tried and eventually gave up, resulting in no hair for Kelly.

Who knows. I just thought I'd post for whatever reason.

I'm gonna butt in here with the carer talk right quick.
If Kelly has carers, it wouldn't be their job to take care of her hair. Their responsibilities start and end with what the person can't do/have difficulty doing in regards to their ADLs. Kelly is perfectly capable of taking care of her own hair, she just won't. Her legs got cut off, not her arms.

Agreed. I meant it as an aside to what they already do, like a voluntary thing. I know lots of carers that go above and beyond.
Also, as an aside, even if it was a thing that Kelly may have a few daily tasks in her plan occasionally if she can't manage that day, she can still refuse (in Australia anyway... ) even if she desperately needs it.

So how long before she starts wheeling around town on a skateboard like this

Or through a hospital. i'm sure the staff would be real impressed with her doing that constantly

So it sounds like they're taking off the leg right at the hip joint? Just popping the femur bone out of the hip socket and sewing it up?

They'd better hide the end of her femoral artery, or she's going to make a mess once she starts digging in that surgical site.

Holy shit, that may have been the worst image search of my life. WTF
I want an empathy/generic sad rating

Yes, probably. My guess is that she will try her chances on the remains of the left first.

She does not shower.
it seems like the right option would be to cut it all off.
heh

I wonder if the infection was genuine or if she just picked her way through it. In any case, I'm amazed that the reality hasn't sank in for her. Or, she's either so far into it and can't stop, or this is genuinely what she wants. What an enigma.

How long 'til we get the left leg off too? It's not too unrealistic to expect a totally legless Kelly, from her track record. Or she picks off the new nub from the right leg... or the space where it used to be, lol. I can't imagine what else you can take off if that gets infected too. Methinks that we should study her damn immune system because how the fuck hasn't she gotten sepsis yet? That, or it's proof that modern medicine is truly something to be grateful for.
