Did a little bit of cursory research, and Kanye West does in fact have a cousin who was arrested on suspicion of the death of a woman by the name of Stephan Scoggins (archive).

While he definitely looks very molested, Stephan wasn't alleged to have killed a random pregnant woman, he was alleged to have murdered Kanye's mother Donda.

  • Stephan was ultimately not deemed responsible for her death and arrested for drunk driving and not for life.
  • Kanye does have so many wacky cousins that steal his laptops and apparently fuck him now, so it may be some other cousin that we don't know about, or maybe not a cousin at all.
  • Kanye moved to China about halfway through when this would've been happening but it was only for a year.
  • Kanye and his mom broke contact with his dad when he was three years old and moved to Chicago from Atlanta, so it doesn't really make sense for them to have his dad's playboys.
Is it real? Is he trying to out someone else, with him being the 6 year old? Is this just attention seeking behavior?
Prepare for none of these questions to be answered, ever.

My game theory is he's trying to get headlines from an unverifiable story right before he drops his album. EDIT: Theory 2 is that he's curious if molesting his cousin elicits a more lukewarm response than antisemitism.

It wasn't letting me edit the post (IF a mod could toss in an edit to my initial post quoting this post I'd appreciate it) but I did realize I should have read the article more closely, Stephan is a solid ten years older than Ye. It would be impossible for Ye to introduce him to dirty magazines when Stephan was 6 years old. But I also was dubious on it being him at all simply due to the fact Donda wasn't exactly a random pregnant woman. This wouldn't be the first time Ye has told strange stories of his cousins either way - there's the infamous "cousin stole my laptop" story from 2012, after all.

But at the same time, of course a random black pervert has a lot of weird stories about cousins.
