Anyone remember that tweet where he said, "I don't listen to modern rappers, only Dave Blunts"?

This would actually explain a lot. It's why his sound has become increasingly minimalist and built on old samples over time; he barely listens to music. This actually seems like the real barrier stopping him from releasing great stuff. The melodies are there, samples are there, but musically it's almost nothing.

We take "growing as a person" for granted cause nobody actually does it. Seeing it happen in the realm of unnaturals; THE SCHIZOID MIND, is baffling. We could all do this. Choose to erase the hate. But the world is too gay for that.
